- (P.S After closer review, there are 31 modules on the Chevy Tahoe!) (P.P.S I flipped the video so you guys can see the screen of the scanner easier, don’t make your neck sore trying to see what my ugly mug is saying)
Don't forget to tell everyone smart diagnose only works when you are on the monthly subscription
Hey Robert! You’re right, there are ways to keep your tool up to date, either subscription, which can be paid weekly, monthly or yearly. Loyalty updates (every six months) or non loyal, which are yearly or anything longer then 12 month intervals between updates!
Its expensive to buy it and expensive to use it
For someone who charges by the hour, it’s expensive to waste time chasing solutions! If you have the right tool, and information I can GUARANTEE it’s worth the money, stay tuned, hit the subscribe button, there’s a video coming to prove how easy it is to pay for these things
Have had snap on scanners for years starting from the old brick, OG modis , verdict, Apollo 8 & now Zeus..always learning..Thanks..
Sounds like the type of shop I want my vehicle serviced at!! Great to hear! As for learning I’m in the same boat!
Me and my dad are getting this scanner this weekend and we’re hoping this will give us troubleshooting tests to help us solve better rather than parts guessing.
It absolutely will!!
@@SnaponToolsJosephHull by any chance, does this scanner give you wiring diagrams or if you can add wiring diagrams to it?
Does it give you a connector view to do pin to pin voltage check or location view of where (for example) an evaporator canister is located at?
I apologize for so many questions
@fernandovillegas1278 not a problem at all!! It sounds like you’re explaining the Zeus plus! That has a guided component test, which gives you connector locations , along with wiring pinoutS! Along with that and it’s ability to search online, gives you whatever repair information you subscribe to!
@@SnaponToolsJosephHull I noticed Zeus does do that but it’s a bit expensive 😅
The Apollo were trying to get is$2500 used from a snap on dealer.
@fernandovillegas1278 the Apollo is a great tool! You would be missing any component testing/information, you can still do functional tests and resets. You just aren’t able to test the individual components separately.
If you’re looking for a happy medium, I would recommend the triton! We don’t have wiring diagrams, but you still get a two channel lab scope and all the component information that the Zeus has! Just not windows capable
Can do dpf regeneration, new injector, gearbox actuator programing etc..?
Damn good unpacking and break down of some of the capabilities of the D9 . That’s better than Snap on corporate. When my Snap on guy comes by today I’m going to see if it will do what I want for the Mercedes airmatic suspension . If it does , I’m buying it .
Keep me posted!! Haven’t seen many Mercedes in my area but would be good to know!
Yessir did what I needed to do at least in demo mode on the truck . Going to pick it up tomorrow on the truck
Nice!!!
What about full function to test sensors
And relearn throttle and keys there is any option in d9
Unfortunately that’s more of a vehicle specific question! We don’t have full functionality on all vehicles but on most, we can do ALMOST everything!! 😊
What about the security link? how much does it cost? do we need a adapter?
No adaptor, you register thru autoauth.com for 50$ usd a year!
I have one and i need to update it , could you please tell me how to update it?
You contact your local rep!!!

I live in Iraq . There is no one knows about Snap on
@mohammedaliwathek5295 oh! That’s a bit far for a Snapon service call!! I’d say call our customer care! After payment for the update, they probably can send you a new micro usb to update it!
