- This is super cool rod for tiny streams where acurate and short casts are needed. This rod handles the fish fantastic! Fuji guides and Toray carbon blank used too.

Great review Andrew, as always
Glad you enjoyed it
I have an eye on that rod for a long time now. I guess next Sale on Ali I will get it. 😉
It's on sale now not a lot left at sale price
Hi Andrew I have one coming, but are you running in huge waiting times as soon as the rods touch europe? I live in Portugal and all my rods are on Netherlands/France/Germany for up 2 weeks after taking 1 week to go out of China, also after leaving the EU sorting center it's 1 day to get home.
Should be a nice pair for the Silver Feather
😛
I plan ahead.
Great review! I can see that it is a hollow-tip rod. Have you ever tried to use solid-tip rods? I have already a hollow-tip rod and I find that it is difficult to use/cast in tight spaces. Maybe you can share your insights?
There is a separate video on solid VS tubular..
@@AndrewsKnots Hi Andrew, I have just watched this video on your YT channel ua-cam.com/video/A9c1ExEVvqk/v-deo.html
Unfortunately it is a general video and does not address my specific question about casting light lures with a BFS set-up in tight spaces. With a tubular tip baitcasting rod, I find it difficult to control the casting, either with a standard side cast or with a pitch. Indeed either the rod hits tree branches, or the lure gets snagged in bushy vegetation during the back cast, or the casting distance is very short... I think about switching rods with a solid tip carbon rod or a fiber glass rod, like the ones that Japanese trout anglers use when casting light lures with a BFS set-up. I do not know if your insights can be of any help.
Hi Andrew
When the rod states Line Rating of say 4 to 6 LB. Is this Mono line???
Great videos by the way.
Hi,
It will be mono or braid or FC or anything else really. I personally don't pay attention to any rod's line LB rating as casting rating what's important to me.
I order the purelure bfs telescopic travel rod (high end one which cost 100 USD) rod which came in damage with a crack reel seat, so I message them, and they sent me a replacement (cost 5 USD) also, came in damaged by the wrap of the eyes. I then ask for refund and got denied due to receiving items already.
My experience is different that is inline with 1000s of other buyers who left positive reviews on AliExpress.
What hooks are those
Mantis type.
Sir you are affecting my wallet but not that much 😂
Cool.
