    I have watched your channel for many years.
    long enough to know that soft plastics would be no1. Not because you are sponsored by Strike Tiger but because they catch the most fish.
    That is honesty and integrity right there.
    Long may your relationship with them continue and I might just see if they have anything for the salt water options I'll be looking for. cheers.

      Thank you so much VB. Soft plastics are definitely my favourites for both trout and redfin. Although they catch cod and yellas too, they're not my favourites there. It's hard to been medium sized diving lures for yellas and large for cod.

    My top 4 trout lures for streams are mepps aglia in size 0 in either silver, copper or brass followed by red/white spoon from dare devil. Get trout, steelhead, salmon, smallmouth bass and whitefish in the river i have land on.
    For lakes, macks wedding bands in red or green withba small chunk of nightcrawler on it. Flatfish in size f3 in either black with orange spots or silver with blue back and red lip are tops in the lake i live on.

    Awesome video Robbie! I love helpful/ tutorial or opinion piece videos, when they are short and to the point. I love the honsety which you bring to the camera, crediting sponsors when necassary without ever saying their product is THE best, and often offering alternatives where those products may not be available to people in their area.

    Love trout fishing so much I actually started a series on my UA-cam channel catching all species I haven’t and I travelled too catch my first rainbow trout and more recently a brown trout it was quite an experience and met lots of great trout anglers and seen many waterfalls and rivers! I can’t believe kids my age vape and drink when they could see and experience the great outdoors!

    • @robbiefishing
      @robbiefishing  Рік тому +1

      Thanks mate. It's really sad isn't it. Vaping is horrible.
      When I was your age it was cigarettes, a lot of my school mates smoked cigarettes thinking it was cool, and within a year or two of leaving school every single one of them regretted it, but we're addicted. Many still smoke today, 30 years later. They suffer poor health and have little money.
      It breaks my heart seeing kids Vaping.

    Awesome Robbie. I’ve got a bunch of each. I inherited my Dad’s tackle box. Lots of old Celtas, floppy’s, vintage wonder wobblers. Almost too sentimental to cast out for fear of losing them on a snag! A big trout snapping one off, I reckon my Dad’s spirit would enjoy. New to soft plastics, but looking forward to new ways to enjoy my fishing & maybe land a few more. Love your vids mate. I know my Dad would have too. 👍👌
