I have many Beat Club Bremen Laserdiscs and 2 or 3 DVDs, rarely are those I found and did not buy. These are among the most precious gems of all time in terms of live-in-studio Rock acts from the 60s and early 70s. Hard to believe the things you have in them, from the original Renaissance to the first King Crimson Quintet.
This specific laserdisc I have never seen anywhere else, neither I remember to have seen each performance. Beat Club IP is not permitted on UA-cam, most of this Laserdisc was not allowed.
I kept a few of the performances because I consider them precious. The first seconds show the original LD menu for side 2, where these recordings come from, for those interested to have a sense of what is there.

REALLY? What you are doing to me right now is giving a heart attack. Jealousy gauge over red, radiator bursting out. I can not even start to imagine how could it have been!!!!
There are friends like you at convert doors while waiting it to open - usually my age give or take - who saw these things like you saw a couple, I saw other couple, they come with Harmonia, Can, Guru Guru, Henry Cow I saw Czukay solo once in Seattle, and Fred Frith twice, once in Seattle same place I saw Czukay (ir was Moe’s mo’rock’n’cafe back then, changed name to something I dont remember now when I saw Frith, Laswell, Percy Heath and their Meridiem.
My loft was right there at Capitol Hill so going to Moe’s on an everyday basis was sort of no brainer.
Pretty amazing stuff, I only ever heard of Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream, thanks for sharing!
Wait until you discover bands like. Popol vuh, faust,can,amon duul,floh de cologne, among several others. I guarantee you will be plesently surprised keep digging.

Amon Düll II uses Winston by Echolette Amps in the first video. A german manufacturer starting in the 1950´s. The model was to compete with Marshall Amps.

I'm sure i saw this on Portuguese TV Ch2, around late 1977 - local urban highschool kids, curiously enough, were into Krautrock and Can and Amon Düül II visited the country around that time. You could see 14 year olds with Klaus Schulze's records under their arms, which, taken into account the musical content, isn't quite the thing nowadays, right? Strange...
