Boy that Chaves is outstanding!! Be proud my friend. That white river stands out too!
I've been seriously thinking about ordering one of Creely's Omnivores. I usually do a big veggie soup each week with turnips, carrots, cabbage, celery, tomato, etc and wondered if a chisel grind would be better than my 4/5 star Henkels. That would be an interesting use vid, don't think I've seen anyone demonstrate a chisel grind. My only real worry was that it might be too short for heads of cabbage and things like that. That, and I've never sharpened a chisel grind before.
I agree, I think I'm so a comparison video with the comparable knives from North Arms, LT Wright, and Bark River. They all have different grinds. I cook a lot too, haha.
That Chavez is peak 👌
l’m really curious about the slicing performance of that chisel grind? Never seen or used that blade grind before.
Great idea for a short video. Been thinking of comparing grinds while cutting cucumbers, carrots, etc
