I don't care that you bought a cheap Chinese fake Kabar for $8.00, but please don't make a comparison to the real $160.00 Kabar you saw elsewhere online.
For that price it's no way you could go wrong ,be it a copy or whatever folks want to call it. Its sharp and has a sheath , that's hard to beat. The should blame the companies for selling out to make bigger profit and less quality control or fit & finish. ⌚
Got the bk19 today. Looks exactly the same. Same coating through out the blade. Popped scales off and looks like the real deal. The only thing that could be different is the steel but that requires testing. Razor sharp as well.
My first thought is what kind of steel is used in production. Ka-Bar is a USA company. It’s not a bad inexpensive one but can you stake your life on it? Steel, heat treated, hardness. Test it for function not for looks. Drop it on a hard surface. Will it crack snap or break anywhere?. Baton with it. You can’t tell quality without knowing stuff like mentioned
I would be suspicious about the steel quality. But never know. 10 years ago I bought an Izula knockoff and still in great shape (because I never used it 😂)
I took it to a local knife expert and it’s the real thing I don’t know how they got it over there but they did and so luckily I just a made a great buy
I would never replace my go to knives I carry in my bugout bags with a clone knife of course, the steel quality just can't be cloned but I will say those Asian made clones have stepped up their game, having a few the quality other than blade steel is there,I have some of knives honestly I will never buy for 700,1200 or 1400 bucks, the clone version of them are incredibly accurate and almost identical and very very enjoyable for normal edc use,now would I pack a clone instead of true steel, hell no.Would I buy a very close carbon copy of a 600 dollar knife that I would never pay that amount for, hell yes😊
Just remember better than 95% of all of your medications are made in China. Also Temu is very much like Amazon in that anyone can create an online store and sell from anywhere. Just because it is on Temu does not it is made and shipped from China. Yes most of it is. Look at a lot of "US Made" products closely and it may say designed in the USA but made responsibly insert foreign county here.
@TheTrueBobDole you do know that ka-bar outsourced their products to China. The folding knives are made in China, so I wouldn't be surprised that the fixed blades are as well. I've bought a couple of ka-bar knives stateside and they were made in China. Alot of American products are made in China now and days.
Unfortunately, just about every tool we buy even the popular name brands like Milwaukee, DeWalt, etc. etc. are all made in China. Everything comes from there. There are a few things that are made in the United States. However we just can’t compete with their prices so if you only buy things they made in the United States you won’t have much.
@@hermanwandall4069 You are correct, seldom do you see ANYTHING that boast; Made in the USA. KABAR wants a $152 for the BK-18 and Amazon $102, I paid $25 for the TEMU knock off KABAR, I can't tell the difference, sure it's a copy but if I lost the $25 in the boonies it definitely would not hurt as bad!
@@i.r.oldairborneviking2823the difference is, you can give the genuine ka-bar to your grand kids and it will probably still have a good edge on it. My grandfather gave me his one he used in the Pacific, and I still use it. Will be passing it on when my time comes.
I have that one and the black one. I'm still looking for different handles. They are excellent knives
Everyone's complaining about the KBAR! I'd be more worried about the Chinese circuit breaker!
Haha...I would never trust that thing.
So far it does the job
Why worry? It is ignition protected

Look at the white sticker on the box with the UPC 2:10 . It says Made in China.

Idk if I would trust a $6 disconnect switch especially when putting 40amps through it
Cool knives

Check out my hard use tests on cheap temu knives you'll be surprised how great the steel is
The locals in New York pronounce it Oh-leah-anne. Definitely a nice chinese real fake Kabar. $8? Dude... of course it's fake.
I took it to a local knife expert and it’s the real thing I don’t know how they got it over there but they did and so luckily I just a made a great buy

You got a real fake K-bar for $8 is what you got.

$8 What!!!!! I love temu
Where do you get Temu coupons?
They send them to you on the app. Sometimes to many! Lol

The kabar is real some of their models are made in China i got the harpoon one for 27$ it's the real thing
No it's not
I don't think those are real K-Bar knives. I believe that they are copies/clones/fakes.
*I will never buy a knife that has a painted blade. Not for $800, not for $8. The paint always falls off.*
Kabar are not made in china
They are
@wc7484 not real kabar

@wc7484 you're talking about the mass produced civilian knives. True military issue kabar, are not chinese made.
Any name brand knife on temu is fake.
too bad you are not actually supporting k-bar, but rather buying cheap chinese counterfeits.

Yea I hate to tell you it's fake. It says it's a copy down where the pics start. But probably be good to defend. I wouldn't bushcraft with it.
Must be a pain to re-box these items up to film an unboxing video. Nice Kabar clone you have there.
What? That’s the box it came in. Didn’t change a thing!

Yes it is. K-BAR is not KA-BAR.
Not interested to see one opening package. Demonstrate and test the items instead. Please.
