Fun fact: The G force pulled on this ride is the highest in the country, and the second highest in the world. Around 5.5gs which is just short of the the average gs pulled in a fighter jet,
This roller coaster is so underrated, one the best roller coasters in the world in my opinion, loops, 5.9G’s of force, and airtime, plus it’s smoother than any B&M I have ever ridden, what else is there to love
Rode this with my dad when it was brand spanking new. I made it about halfway around the first turn before the loops and closed my eyes for the rest of the ride. I went back a few years later to redeem myself and found out what I was missing. A true classic!
By far the most underrated roller coaster I’ve been on. The G forces on this ride is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. By far my favorite ride I’ve ever been on
Shockwave is my favorite it's like a Six Flags Over Texas and I have been there and Six Flags Over Texas and Shockwave is my favorite I started crying when we went up to the top because of those when we went upside down
I am contemplating going on this ride. I have never done a loop before and I’m kind of skeptical about doing one. Are there any tips I should know about if I go on this?
I was the same way growing up. The loops are actually pretty awesome! It s over before you know it. Just up and over. I'm actually going to six flags over Texas in July. My 1st time ever. Can't wait to ride the coasters! Look up El Diablo. The giant loop. Rode similar ones where I live. That one will leave you hanging upside down for a bit. What a rush!
This is still one of the best coasters at SFoT, please keep her running well all the way up to at least her 50th anniversary. They just don't make them like this anymore.

Easily one of my favorite Schwarzkopf coasters. This and Montezooma's Revenge at Knott's. I love that classic sound it makes traversing the loops.
I've been on every ride/rollercoaster in this exact park and this is one of my favs

My grandmas friend almost died on this ride in the 80s and they were on a school trip she luckily survived since she fell out of the ride at the end
