Thanks for uploading in such a short time! Keep this going IMSA!
I was going to say the same thing. It makes it that much easier to be an IMSA fan.
well its not the race isnt it?
Thats amazing information about IMSA: ua-cam.com/video/ZH5dSD5jvew/v-deo.html
Thanks for the quick upload! I can’t wait for the 12H race!
Hopefully they get it uploaded soon. I'm watching the NBC/Peacock version and it sucks by comparison.
IMSA - the best racing the world has to offer.
it's my second favorite, just wish rally racing was bigger here in USA
I LOVE how excited Jeremy was when the lap record was broken. I don't think I've ever heard him that loud and excited before 😄
okay thanks
Jeremy Shaw warms my heart

Imsa baby best sports car series in the world!
Quick upload!! Awesome!!!
Great coverage! Thanks!
WOOOOT! IMSA 💪
Some really great liveries this year! And the corvette sounds tough stretching its legs! 🇺🇸
Nice coverage! Thanks.
You guys are the best!! So quickly uploaded in full woohoo 😃
Thank you 🙏
Thanks , great picture
Thanks for the upload. I just wish this was at 1080p. FIAWEC can upload a 6 hr race at 1080p/60fps. I know it's easier at 720p, I was just commenting.
Great stuff including the spins.
thx IMSA for qualy. bring on the race. go Porsche.
❤IMSA !😷🤓😎👍👏
Just happen to catch it live at the moment on spectrum channel 757 USAHD.
Pretty much a fan with the LMP2 series,, when Playstation and Gran Turismo
made a retired agent a best of full time hobby.
Cheers
Muito bom ver o serrinha botando pra moer na IMSA
Love this iconic race and track,...Australian fan....A couple of those bumps could be smoothed a little ats,....it's getting a little ridiculous considering the speed these guys are travelling at!
Thx for races . So nice engine sounds :)
Always waiting for Cadies :*
Grettings from Ukraine ❤ IMSA
50:07 Look at that flow!
Was at Sebring once, 1976 I think, The BMWs of Hans Stuck and Brian Redman(?) were the cars to beat that race I think. John Greenwood was there with his Spirit of '76 Vette, fast, but not competitive there, I think the bumps took his trans out, The RSR's were there with Greg and whoever. No BoP and yet it was still very fun to watch.
I wonder, have the bumps changed over those years? Were they worse in 1976 or now?
Are they on iheart radio ?
BOP is working really well for the GTD cars. Maybe give the Mercs a little more
OOH YEEAAHHHH !!!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
no
What an absolute cluster of a GT run
yeah
Just got this corvette. 1/32 scale carrera.
love imsa! way better then the snorefest f1
Daniel Serra and Risi are always magnificent….when BOP allows them to be…
Interesting the difference in body bulk between these pit crews and the F1 guys.
Wow. These DPi times are faster than the WEC Hypercar times.
That's the whole point of the new LMH and LMdH cars... a bit slower but much more cost effective and much more efficient.
@@OTM-BandiT I guess. But no way the news cars are cheaper than the current DPi cars.
1:16:53 I had to listen a few times before I realized he was saying "850, 900 horsepower" and not "1500 horsepower" . I was like, damn, I didn't know SeaBass drove a 917 for Penske.
I am trying to watch the race on TV, but it is not easy. I would love to watch the race live on IMSATV but it can't be done in America anymore, VPN hasn't helped.
So when are we getting the full race upload?
The full race has been uploaded (3 parts). Thanks!
2.3 sec faster than WEC hypercar Pole...
Question about BoP, what stops a team from sandbagging in practice to gain a BoP advantage during the race? Or is it determined from previous years results?
BOP changes are not made at track.
@@imsaofficial I understand, just wondering how it is determined that a car is too heavy/not powerful enough etc
Our technical staff collects massive amounts of data at track and it is reviewed thoroughly. If you would like more information, I would recommend emailing info@imsa.com.
Go Corvette C8.R!!
💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛
Is the race going to be posted here? Tv broadcast skipped hours which is really annoying.
WeatherTech Championship races are always posted the Thursday following the TV broadcast. Thanks!
Twelve Hours of Sebring: Where the real suspension manufacturers go to play.
Seeing some comments about the balance and performance, is a good system, not perfect. IMSA is always adapting to the latest developments from the auto manufacturers so there will always be an ebb and flow as to who is dominating this year vs next. The system is design to keep the racing competitive, and allow for multiclass racing. Keeping things within a standard keeps teams from exploiting financial advantages over other teams. If there's a particular car dominating every race every track, ya that's boring. Dial that back and let's get some real racing going.
So, just like pit stop strategy, or tires or when to do your last fuel. It's there, set across the board for everyone, you are given the specs. It's up to your team to use it's brains and skills within those guidelines to design your car to win. Some cars will do better a the twisty bit tracks and others will do better with the longer stretches.
Either way, there's so much that goes into this sport for each race, to pick one thing as the cause of a lost, is not even possible. Even the tiniest of things, if you get it wrong you lose, get it right you win. Sometimes, it's just down to pure luck and when that yellow comes out.
It's all part of racing and why I think IMSA is more entertaining to watch then any other racing, except maybe stadium trucks.
You may not agree and think it should be removed, that's cool that's your opinion and you're welcome to it. Though if you are, I am curious what your thoughts behind it are, and the reasoning. Let's talk about it, just keep it clean mkay.
Absolutely agree and what has always impressed me is how quickly changes are made from officials and the teams to keep the racing competitive.I have seen hundreds of races at Daytona International Speedway and the 24hrs and the Daytona 200 were always my favorite and being able to camp out right next to the track and watch these amazing cars for 24hrs is just amazing.
I love road racing! Thank you for posting the video sooner than later. NASTYCAR lost me.
You might want to include QUALIFYING in the thumbnail !!
The title of the video includes 'Qualifying'. Thanks!
whens the race?
Turn 17 is wrong in the introduction track map
Is anyone else surprised that the dpi did faster times than the HyperCars for WEC? Is that just because of BoP?
Dpi are NOT in hypercar in 2022 si that’s normal
Loi de Floride RED FLAG WEC
😎🏁
I came here to see the NSX
man imsa really need to BoP the GTDpro cars to be 2ish secs/lap faster than the GTDam cars. just not right the factory teams are getting passed by the amateur teams.
Rooting for no 63 Lambo! They looked fast in Daytona but had to retire...maybe they can do it this time around
So DPi is are faster than Hypercar, interesting
Hybrid or Electric when?
Would like to see the gt3 cars have more than 500hp. A lot of those cars come stock with over 600hp.
uhm... no... You don't just up and change a wildly successful worldwide race class. Also, you want the GT3 cars (slowest class) to have 600hp? More than the DPi cars?? (fastest class in the series). Those cars are not meant to handle those speeds, especially in the case of a wreck. I get what you are saying, but its just not realistic in the slightest way.
500 HP for GT4, 550 HP for GT3, 650 HP for DPi, 750 HP for GT. This is what I would like to see.
Great to see Ferrari on top .. GTD might be a thing.
1:07:17 That's all folks!!!
WEC please just take DPi instead of Hypercars 😬
Yes WEC, please take the cars that were made for IMSA. Yeah Hypercars suck on American soil. But in Europe (IMO) DPi would be LMP2 compared to LMH.
@@boomyoulookingforthis1362 Nah the WEC and IMSA LMP2 cars are exactly the same, LMP2 is almost as fast as Hypercars, DPi is much quicker than LMP2 on both top end and aero
Also do you know what is quite faster than LMP2?
Super GT GT500 cars that are Class 1 cars
That males me think GT500 in Super GT would actually be matching those DPi cars, 2021 GT500 were only barely slower than R18 Hybrid LMP1 cars at Fuji.
So I half agree on "WEC please use DPi instead of LMH/LMDh" but I would also love to see GT500/Class 1 cars there, after all both current DPi and GT500/Class 1 have specific branding for the cars. GT500 looks closer to real cars as per the name compared to DPi which are prototypes
@@ItzAnonyms I know GT500 is extremely fast. It’s a prototype without being a prototype. A LMP2 in IMSA lap times are close to the DPi lap times. There have been some instances where LMP2s have posted faster laps like in Sebring 1000 quali
@@boomyoulookingforthis1362 Agreed, however over the past 2 years, LMP2 cars have been slowed down twice already, and yet they are still almost as fast as Hypercars, meanwhile you have DPi and most likely GT500 out there that can smash the premier category of the world championship which is a bit disappointing in a way, but laptimes will go down in the coming years eventually
hi
No Ford racing?
They haven't raced in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship for several years now. However, they do plan to return to competition with a two-car GTD PRO team in 2024. Read more about it here: www.imsa.com/news/2022/01/28/ford-re-entering-weathertech-championship-with-new-mustang-gt3/
Por favor no hablen tanto cuando está la cámara on board.
go find a broadcast with no commentary. not that hard my friend. They are just doing their jobs.
@@OTM-BandiT El ABC del comentarista es no hablar en cámaras on board. Siempre es mas interesante el sonido de la cabina y motor.
The IMSA Hendrick NASCAR Chevy show. 😂
I only see the #3 Corvette. Did they only enter 1 for this race, where is the #4.
They only entered one car for this event. The other drivers raced in the WEC race.
Does the Toyota in 2019 Qualifying time not count as the overall record? They ran a 1:40.318 in qualifying. Those unbridled Toyota's in 2019 were bonkers to watch accelerate.
I think its just a IMSA track record
I'm assuming they are just talking about the IMSA record. Not overall track record for any series/car.
you are incorrect
@@jansonb482 No Jeremy said it broke the lap record from 2013 - which is the last time 12 hours of sebring had an LMP1 cars. The 1:40.318 record was set at 1000 miles of sebring, same track different event.
Support G DRIVE
What the hell is the point of red flagging a session if you aren't going to stop the clock?!
Clock doesn't stop under red flag conditions.
" resswehh"
Yooo im the first one here i think lol
mebtooo
I'm so sorry Group GTE is dying by 2024.
The GTLM class ended last year and was replaced by GTD PRO.
Where the F are the Corvettes 😤
did you not watch this upload or the broadcast? there is a full minute at the beginning of the video only showing the corvette. 6:30 - 7:30
@@OTM-BandiT yeah but they're not even in the top 10!!
I've never liked BMWs but damn, that's an ugly car design. If you painted that car a fleshy color, it would look exactly like a pig.
Corvette will be next to leave this series if you guys keep doing this BoP shit to them.
LOL
You mean they cant win in a level playing field
Well they aren't driving a GT3 car in the first place so of course they are already add a disadvantage
I mean.......as the guy said, it's a new car added into the series just like the BMW so they are trying to evenly balance the car.
So you want them to take back that ~20hp they gave them for this race? "if you guys keep doing this bop shit to them" what are you on about? It's part of the gt3 class and the IMSA Championship. They agreed to the rules when moving and adapting this car to gt3 specs.
Maybe you are just used to corvette winning all the time in a 3 car field😂. BORING. GT3 is the new wave.
Lazy. Drivers. Chicanes are there to drive through, not just over. Same thing with the track. If your gonna extend it, just pave it. Its a bad show watching the current state of these drivers. Its sad, because anyone can drive fast in a straight line like that. Seriously, at the rate you keep taking out the challenges of courses, you might as well just start doing only oval tracks and call yourself nascar. I watch to see drivers be challenged, not this. Btw i am watching the live race, and its junk, its boring, it feels like watching amatuers
Thanks for your feedback Tim!
Tim, I'm sure any of those drivers would laugh to the point of tears at your observation. They navigate those esses, with G forces you cannot imagine as they undergo transitions that your untrained eyes misperceive as "straight line", as their coccyges ( yes, that is the plural of coccyx, I looked it up ) hammer mercilessly just millimeters from some of the bumpiest concrete racing surface on earth. They exercise extraordinary skill to use every inch of the track that the car can handle without losing control or breaking components... lap after lap. As far as diminution in the challenge out of courses, the original layout consisted or no less than 3 full miles of straights, with nothing resembling a chicane. Not that Moss, Gurney or Andretti weren't challenged by that layout, but the current layout reflects appropriate changes reflective of the march of technology and speed.
