Thanks, IMSA, for uploading these races. I am enjoying them! I don't get to actually attend any of them (one day, perhaps), so these ad-free races are the next best thing. I was able to watch all 24 hours of the Rolex 24 using this format. 🙂 The audio commentary is also top notch. Radio commenters have to provide more distinct commentary to give radio listeners a word-picture of the race. It really adds to the experience. Thank you, IMSA! 👍
Didn't know this was a series as well. Love these lower power races with more of these road car style race cars. Sebring was a bloodbath for all events. One last thing, what does GS stand for
It's Robin - not Robert. He's a beast out there: unfortunately, his "gentleman" co-driver/team owner wrecks so much that he frequently never gets a chance to lap at all - or gets a hobbled car handed over.
I don't know who qualifies that Camaro but it's definitely not Rob...if not for last of the pack starts they could fight for the championship with that pace.
@@CamaroThings Actually, I think FIA homologation for the GT4-class Camaro ends after this racing season, before Chevy discontinues them, altogether - even sadder.
Commiserations to Simczek there. They must be seething. Always great to see Liddell come through a the end - makes an exciting finish, he's a canny laddie!
I notice the new bmw gt4 and mclaren gt4 ( I think, kinda hard to tell with that one). Does anyone know when the new lotus emira and nissan fairlady Z gt4 cars will debut this year?
Driving standards across all series including the WEC (to a lesser extent) at Sebring was appalling. More like watching a BTCC sprint race. Pace car ran more laps than most.
He shouldn't have got that penalty. It was a racing incident. Passing around the outside comes with risk and that's one of them. Not fair at all. Then at about 1 hour that same bmw almost got into another wreck in the same way. His aggressive driving caused that and for officials to not see that and then to make him serve is crazy
71 car got unfair penalty. The same bmw that was the actual cause also almost took ot another car and then ultimately took out the 83. Complete mess that they gave 71 car a penthouse
@@ClaytonYatescarenthusiast 49:19 The 25 BMW spins but it's unclear if he was hit by the 71. 52:02 The 71 runs into the 43 BMW and is probably where the penalty came from if there was one. 1:27:12 The 25 BMW runs into the 83 Porsche. Two different BMW's.

@@thefunkosaurus ahhh I see. Definitely gonna need to watch this one too. Thank you much
Grand sport, essentially custom BOP'd GT4's.
Robin Liddell is a legend!

@donholl that's too bad because he's amazing
@@donhollsorry, misunderstood his name. Thank you!
@@donholl yes I see your argument, that's a shame...
This series is always exciting. Liddell is amazing, just not enough time but great race.

Imagine... in 2 years he will no longer have a Camaro to race 😢
@@CamaroThings yeah, but I think he's so talented as long as it has wheels he'll be driving it.
Corvette Racing are always looking for long time drivers to join their program.

There will be two Nissan's in the GT4 America series this weekend. I would guess the Lotus will debut in British GT, no idea when though.
Think *24H Le Mans* & Then Some... A Genuine Tour De Force.
Happy to see at least 1 American car in this race
Just a Camaro and 2 Mustangs.
amazing
DePew needs some chill out there. Guy was a weapon to anyone around him.

Turner 1, 2 !!!
No one... Absolutely NO ONE!!!
John, Jeremy and Shea: *FULL COURSE YELLOW IS OUT!!!*
Hyundai drivers were GOATED! But I’m still a Honda fan boi
At least we got one lap at the end . They need to stop tying the hands of that line Camaro in the field . Good race though .
Is the VP Challenge not going to be broadcast? :(
There was not a production team at track the week prior to the Twelve Hours of Sebring event, so unfortunately not.
finally let's goooo
Why there are not more Camaros ? They are awsome handling cars.
32:43 Nah, the 57 dive bombed the 69 and pushed it into the 11.
They really need to allow Porsche more power! It’s sad how everyone else is more powerful in all aspects
Yo is that spiders ps1 theme song?!??
Does the name "Alan Jay" have anything to do with Alan Jay, North Carolina? That town was named after my Great Grandfather.

Who shouldn't have got a penalty? Who's aggressive? You should put the numbers of the cars your talking about at least.

TCRs are more interesting than the GS/GT4s...TCRs look like fast tuner cars while GSs are slow race cars.
Well, that sucked!
