    Just remember that you need to use Cycles to have Shadow Catcher option in the object properties.

    you can also use the holdout and indirect only options in the outlinert to mask out the furniture.

    Thank you very much, I used it for rendering with layers because the indirect lighting filter was not working in the outliner.

    to hide the chair you just need to go to chair's object properties and in visibility>ray visibility uncheck the "camera" checkmark

    I can't add shadow to the photogrammetry rendered scene, I'm going crazy. Do you know of a video about it? When I add a background to the scene created with photogrammetry and set it as a shadow catcher, the scene does not appear, the backmost hdri is visible. I need help.

    • @bradloflin6776
      @bradloflin6776 Рік тому

      you cant just use background (color), you need a plane or some object to be set to shadow catcher.

  • @user-wh4wm3mw7l

    I need to render a plane without shadow. (object > visibility > ray visibility > shadow uncheck does not work)

  • @nataleesha3633
    @nataleesha3633 Рік тому +1

    why didnt u just disable camera visibility for chair? in the same setting where u enabled shadowcatcher for plane on ground

    • @bradloflin6776
      @bradloflin6776 Рік тому +1

      camera visibility would remove the shadow also.
      Edit. Just tried this. Set ground plane to shadow catcher, then select each object one at a time and you can click off Ray Visibiliy in the object visibilities tab. I had multiple complex materials in several objects and for me this is a lot easier than changing the material node set up for each material.

    But can I have a method for quickly applying this method to 100 objects at once, or, for example, to the entire collection of scenes?
    maybe familiar to you? Thank you for the lesson

    • @AneeshArts
      @AneeshArts  Рік тому

      Hi, As you can see its for one object a quick solution, if you have a scene than you have to use Blender's Scene Layers
