I’m very happy to show you my new method to make the sleeves of smaller while we’re still crocheting the hexagons instead of decreasing big sleeves later on. It will save us a lot of time and work. When we are finished with a Hexagon the sleeve will be more narrow than the waist.

I must have missed the part where you explained the sleeve decreases. I noticed the sleeves were getting more narrow, so I had to go back a few minutes to watch and listen again. I like the look of the narrower sleeves. I'll probably try at least one more round of decreases. I also like the invisible join, which is new to me. Your version of the hexagon cardigan is very pretty! (New subscriber.)

Hi, I love this pattern. Will start soon. My yarn is thinner. I need a no 6 hook. Due to this I will need more than 14 rounds. But do I have to pay attention to something else? Will I get in trouble with the thinner yarn? Thanks in advance

Hi, thank you for this but I’m trying to make the one of dc and I want to decrease the sleeve while working around like this
So my question is can I just do
**One dc chain2 one dc instead of two dc chain2 two dc in the sleeve area
Or I decrease the sides and keep the edge straight
Please help me out
I would suggest that the side you have that is going to be your sleeve, crochet 3dc together, and keep a stitch marker in there so you can do this each round... ?

Also, I saw this comment elsewhere..
"If you work the six sides until you have a narrower width of sleeve, then only work on three sides, front bottom &back. This makes the body bigger and not the sleeves, try it on . When it fits, add more to the back if needed/ add to the length"
Then you can finish the sleeves.

I tried to see it on different sites and now I get it. These are NOT Hexagon. Who named them that?
