What a journey, 2016 i started following this channel, studied the basics of graphic design from Chris and the team, which led me to pursue a degree in Graphic Design. Fast forward 2023, I run a branding agency here in Jakarta for over 2 years, still learning from thefutur, but more on the business side 🤣. Heck, actually one of my dreams might be booking a coaching call one day with you chris!
Not gonna lie I gave up on trying to get my own clients T.T. Got frustrated and deleted my website and online presence for everything and got myself a salaried job. I know I’m limited in growth here to a messily 3% increase a year but I’ve accepted it for the stability it brings. I may have given up but it’s nice to see young hopefuls going for it in the design world. Hope y’all make it.
Its okay buddy, no shame in what you did. Everyone just promoting business, "Oh do you own business, be your own boss" ... well that same, boss guy/gal will still need employees to run its business. So, I think if your job pay well, gives you mental freedom and time for family and friends, and your normal things are taken care of like, car, house, food. Than its all good.
I'm truly sorry to hear about the tough time you're going through, the loss of hope you're feeling. It's hard to see someone with such potential facing this kind of frustration. Remember, you're a client too, and with your background in marketing, you're uniquely equipped to map out your own pain points. Try to reflect on what led you to this moment of surrender. If others have succeeded where you've paused, it may not be about the theory but rather the application, or perhaps the internal barriers you're facing. Consider this: sometimes our knowledge is clouded by fear, by unresolved pain. Understanding the true value of your goals, quantifying why and how much they should fill your life, can shift your perspective on the future. A clear vision for the future fuels motivation in the present, driving us to craft a different tomorrow. With your ability to dissect and overcome client objections, you can apply that same clarity to your own doubts. I hope in time, this resonates with you, and you find the energy to invest in yourself again. The pain of giving up speaks to the importance of your dreams. You may not fully grasp their significance or the path forward yet, but I believe you can find it. Here's to hope and the journey ahead. ❤
I gave up once. Quit and walked away. Got to work on something more stable. Years later I find myself interested in business, marketing, branding, and all that. Now I’m spending hours a day studying this stuff on my own. Reading dozens of books and using UA-cam as a resource. Just found Chris Do recently but have spent hours watching his educational content. Working on crafting my own comeback story now. Maybe there will come a time when you are ready to make a comeback story as well.
I needed this SO badly. I'm not exaggerating; after spending 6+ hours today watching your videos, I have NEVER felt so inspired and compelled to CONFIDENTLY recreate my brand and content strategies. I've been going around and around in circles, and this just made me sit and breathe, knowing I can do this without hiring someone for $5,000 a month that I do not have right now. You and your team are amazing.

I saw the fitness sales call short video before this. It was a great teaser for this. It added anticipation as the whole video had not been uploaded yet. Great marketing strategy. You even used it at the beginning of this video. Trail and error. Perfecting the art of marketing.
I’m building a 3d printing and digital design company. Sales is not natural to me, but building systems is. This video helped me understand the proper structure of an online sales funnel, now I’ve got to fill it!! Also, will be reading Permission Marketing. Thanks so much!
After taking computer programming, I’ve realized that if I plug in life situations into a formula, it helps me process and understand to solve the problem. This formula is changing but helps me create, a system, as you describe it. It’s awesome to know that this too, can have a structure that we can learn and adapt to our needs. Great comment! Its helping me make these connections.
Try to find the benefit of your product that it will provide your customer. I build landing pages and I try to use this formula and when it executes perfectly it works really well.
I JUST FOUND YOU, and damn happy I did. Chris, I can't thank you enough for your ability to define nebulous concepts into a wonderful conversation. YOU ROCK!!!

This is such good stuff. I’m about halfway through on my tv and couldn’t wait I had to pick up my phone to leave a comment right now. Chris, thank you and your team for providing such immense value for free. I’m positive I will be giving you money soon lol. 🙏🏽
Hey Chris!! I wish you the best. I have discovered your content recently. Being watching this video (not yet finished it). One note so far. We are at the point when you talk about getting from 3K to 6K and this would mean that the closing rate will drop from 80% to 40% assuming that the closing rate was bound to the service price. Which is like the law of demand and price. But i don't agree with the phrase " We cut the workload at half while 2x our revenue" .I see no less work, cause how i see it is this. I still need to talk to the same amount of people. Here is my example. I talk to 100 leads, i close 80, i get paid 3k. Now i still need to talk to 100 leads, i close 40, i get paid 6K. So i am still putting the same effort. The effort is remaining the same whe we talk about the the Discovery Meetings. What we save is that now we have to work on on less projects, but the initial effort concerning the sales process is the same. I hope i make myself clear for the others watching this. Thank yo once again for every single piece of your content.
Before I watched this, last Sunday I had a renegotiation with my client. We made a mistake, both sides. Client's and me. I told her to look for another that can do the job (PS, the job skillset is rare. It'll take her 3+ months to find for another) or to 2.5x my current rate I will provide a non-guaranteed solution. No questions asked, granted.

I think when you raise your prices and you wait for a month before you get a new client, thats in America! Just started this process using AI, and it is making me cry. Watched your vid this morning on my exercise bike, always have a degree of skepticism, and sometimes you piss me off but again I'm biting my tongue. AI is the consultant I could never afford, and you of course. In my 60s. You can use me as a case study in a few years. Ha!
Chris: "Hey guys!" *cut* Chris: Let's give you some value! Amazing watch again. First time I'm accepting most of my resentment, unhappiness and stress comes from charging too little.
Struggling to attract clients is a common challenge, not just an individual issue. Economic factors often play a role. It's an opportune moment to improve and innovate during slower periods.
The crime in higher Ed is that this is not taught every semester for four years alongside the major, which tells me the system is still structured to merely produce good, compliant workers. Empowerment is reserved for the few who either already have access to it or those who up there road piece it all together, but for many this level of putting it all together comes far too late
Discovery call: Do they have the budget? Do you have the time / expertise / knowledge to offer value to this project? To make a deal here? Exchange some value?
One actual question: The sales process applies mostly to people who can just decide themselves based on their feeling (like you did with the personal trainer). But how about a 'gremium' like some marketing department who're looking for a webdesign company? I'm not sure how they make decissions, but certainly differently.
Chris - genuinely love your content, and I share it all the time - this may be a hot take, but I have to say that I perceived some egotism around the 31:00 mark wherein you come off disrespectful to the woman up front. While I feel that these highly valuable presentations have a "rushed" vibe to them based on your pacing and tone (likely due to the time-sensitive nature of the event), it's important to remember that it's easy to come off patronizing when sharing such valuable information at a rapid pace to an engaged audience. Cheers.
Ah man I’m ngl but you set this up for us right at the beginning and yes, he does feed her the ball in the same spot over and over again 🤣 I couldn’t help it, but it was a really good metaphor for ur topic
Kudos this was a very educational/informative video. If I may ask, how would this be applicable for a service you provide that is not tangible? Utilizing the story/example of PT you used (which was relatable as I’ve worked in this space) you’re providing a service; you’re closing the prospect on a outcome unlike real estate or a car which is tangible.
I only listened to the first few minutes until the part about not charging enough. I understand all that andkinda agree, but I believe your company nedds a backend. You initial sale should not becessarily be your most expensive sale. So every paying customer you get should be a prospect for your backend. If you raise your initial sales price and your close rate drops, you're cutting clients out of your front end AND your backend. Sure, if you don't have a backend, maybe raise your initial price. But my closing rate was 80, I'd work on getting it to 100 because I can triple their LTV once they buy into the backed.
Advice on giving Chat GPT all your business information and everything about you and treating it like a business brain-storming partner is interesting. Do you ever worry about the futur of the kind data mining and data feeding for the beast system that is coming for all industries but specifically design? These tips and this video is invaluable. But can’t help to think about the part we’re playing in potential human obsolescence. Seems possibly short sighted. Would like to see creators with more discernment. Might be worth learning and spreading ideas about using offline large language model software to utilize these tools but not be so easily building our technocratic future. Just some thoughts. Not trying to be a downer. Do love the content and the video. Just will be interesting to look back in 10 years and see how all of this AI stuff is going to play out and what each of our parts were in it
"computer.. how do i use Futr strategy to help my company increase profits most efficiently" it will make Strategists obsolete in many cases.. but Futr has money so doesn't care about the Future of others in the industry.. not when it comes to AI
"Computer .. how do i ruin Futrs business" it could be used for many uses.. it really is better to not feed it by using it destroy AI before it destroys us
3k as an lettering artsistfor a single project? How do you get such clients? I would live like a politician with this type of money in my country, and I'm not even working with bulgarians.
The content here is great, but to be honest the audience gives me big question marks. These people are waiting here for ways to make 3k on “finding yourself”. You can find yourself by reading books that interest you, released in 2023 and 24 on free websites.

This is brilliant. Thank you 7:43
Is there a name for this sales process? I’d love to dig into some more resources about it!
I love this guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tyrone watching. 😊😊
wow So much great content...
So many 💎💎💎 dropped.
Super blessed by this. 💯
Thanks Chris! Learned some things and had some good laughs haha
Glad to hear it!

Excellent content
Just will be interesting to look back in 10 years and see how all of this AI stuff is going to play out and what each of our parts were in it
not worried about that. risk/reward.
"computer.. how do i use Futr strategy to help my company increase profits most efficiently"
it will make Strategists obsolete in many cases.. but Futr has money so doesn't care about the Future of others in the industry.. not when it comes to AI
"Computer .. how do i ruin Futrs business"
it could be used for many uses.. it really is better to not feed it by using it
destroy AI before it destroys us
You do that.
3k as an lettering artsistfor a single project? How do you get such clients? I would live like a politician with this type of money in my country, and I'm not even working with bulgarians.

Girl: No means NO!!!
Chris: No means Next Opportunity 😈🤭
How would this be applied to an architect/planning firm?
that's hyper specific. can you abstract the learnings here and apply?
The content here is great, but to be honest the audience gives me big question marks.
These people are waiting here for ways to make 3k on “finding yourself”.
