keeping it genuine and authentic will always be the way. the clients are literally just people. most people have goals, hit plateaus and get lost sometimes. coming from a place of service allows us to keep it natural.

@thefutur, I can relate to a lot of the things. I was in a sales position as my first job. The products were very crapy and it was just a start for me. I observed that the store had very little sales, and then I did the opposite of what my colleagues did. I listened more and empathized with the customers and I was one of the best salespeople in that store in a few week's time.
Workshop Questions:
1. What pain does your client experience (functional, financial, emotional)?
2. What negative outcomes are your client fearful of, or trying to avoid?
3. What objections or accusations might new client raise?
Excellent.
My favorite question is "What keeps you up at night?" let them talk...then "Do you see it getting any better or worse?" then "Why?"

The right people will naturally gravitate towards you and those who are not right for you will naturally drop off.
