The TIE fighter that Kylo Ren uses is called the TIE Silencer and in the companion book Star Wars: The Last Jedi: Incredible Cross-Sections it states that it's equipped with a Hyper Drive
Why doesn't Palpatine stop with the damn lightning. It never works out well for him
Why did Palpatine spend 30 years building the largest most advanced fleet ever, only to store them where they can't turn their shields on (why they couldn't defend themselves is another question), and not give them the ability to just "go up?" Especially when no other ships seemed to be affected by this "navigation glith" - all of which were designed and built elsewhere with inferior technology.

Here's an explanation for most plot holes: Disney didn't plan out the movies well and changed directors twice.

I honestly don't care, it was a very fun movie and I enjoyed it so, whoever was dissatisfied well that's too bad, but don't HATE, saying something has plot holes is fine because yes it could have been much better but it was still a good movie.
Impressive how he did not burst out laughing, when explaining that there were only 16 hours to hop between the planets and get all allies to exogol

hayden appears extensively, just sadly in the 1.5 hours that were cut from the original run time of the movie.
His voice is one of the jedi's voice during the movie but there is no Frank Oz voice in this movie.

Anakin is definitely the chosen one. He even says to rey in the movie “bring back balance rey, as I did.”

Nickolas is right Anakin was the chosen one becaues he was a jedi then turned into darth vader and yeeted Palpatine saveing his son which preety much (In my opinion) Helped save the galaxy in the original trilogy.
I was hoping someone pointed this out.
Anakin brought balance to the Force by destroying the Sith after the Sith had been around for 1000 years. He WAS the Chosen One. Palpatine returning is not enough to plunge the Force back into darkness again. It was out of balance but not like it was back in the OT when the Force was in complete darkness.
Anakin still is the chosen one. In the scene where Rey hears the Jedi voices he says: “bring balance to the force as I once did”
He balanced the force for like 5 minutes apparently

His bloodline is the balance but not really the jedi are on one side and the sith on another balance means it has to be in the middle that's why I think it should of ended with both rey and ben being alive with yellow sabers ... both of them having a child that child would be the true balance.
@@clos24 I believe the balance was found in Rey, being the off stpring of a Sith Lord with the Dark Side strong in her, but choosing to train and become a Jedi. She may even be equal parts both Sith and Jedi.

He said he was going to build a grand army of force sensitives*... just watch and you'll see some crazy foreshadowing junk for real! LOL
JJ Abrams revealed at the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences Q&A after screening the movie that the thing he wanted to reveal to Rey while they were sinking in the sand that he was force sensitive.
Probably this is a set up for a new generation of force sensitive people
He’s definitely force sensitive, he’s just not a powerful force user - something a lot of people seem to forget is most force sensitive people weren’t that powerful
Remember that The Force surrounds everyone in the galaxy. How adept someone to use the Force is a different thing and only a few people can actually control it.
I like how the OT, which had NO plans for being a trilogy had a better "planned" and more consistent trilogy in lore and writing than the sequel trilogy, which was a planned trilogy from the start.
I can say that as an adult who is a big Star Wars fan taking a few of my wife’s friends with us who is just starting to watch the prequels. Was totally lost watching theses movies because they had no clear understanding of who what where and why. Although they do set it up for the whole saga it looses its magic if you have no idea how to fill in the blanks.

...if you ignore that Vader wasn't originally Luke's father, Leia wasn't orgininaly his sister, the Clone Wars seemed a hell of a lot longer than 17 years ago (Luke's age), and wasn't really trying to answer any questions or be particularly deep.

This video is exactly like Rise of Skywalker: you think that if you go through the answers really fast, people won't notice it's all bull***t. All Lucas movies were build on humanity's mythology, that's why everybody fell in love with them. Sequels are just for kids who liked the special effects, lets leave it at that.

Anakin was the chosen one. Keep in mind two things: 1. Anakin destroyed the Sith and brought balance to the Force. But then Sidious cheats death and comes back. So Rey, powered by Anakin and 1000 generation of Jedi destroy him and the Sith living through him again. 2. The prophecy states that “through him will ultimate balance be restored.” Through him, but not necessarily by him.

The entire star wars universe is an exercise in "convenient". They even have a name for it: The Force. Like, seriously, of all the things to complain about, pick something that isn't a mainstay of the Star Wars Universe.

I knew right away that Fin wanted to confess his feeling for Rey. They're really apparent in The Force Awakens and are his motivation in the beginning parts of The Last Jedi. I'm sure as a trooper he never had time to express himself this way and I'm guessing that all of you would fall as hard if you were in his shoes. Funny if you think about it...Fin always wanted to run FAR FAR away with Rey to keep her safe from the ultimate danger that was Palpatine. Maybe his force sensitivity convinced him she was in mortal danger (which she was).
Yeah I can't believe that some of the nit-pickers are harping on this one. I mean seriously. WTF do you /think/ he would want to confess to her right before he thinks he's about to die. Have you not seen TFA? Also: Poe, who assuredly also has a crush on her, teases him about it. I would also think that Poe seeing his old love interest later in the movie is the only reason he even dropped this and didn't bring it up again.
He actually didn't want to confess feelings, he wanted to tell Rey he was force sensitive. John Boyega confirmed this. It is weird how they set it up so it seemed like he was confessing love, though. That ended up not being it at all.

Bianca Taylor I typically don’t trust actors with reveals like that. They are not the writers and often make up their own interpretations like the audience. Also confessing his powers wouldn’t have made sense in an about-to-die kind of moment.

Anakin is the chosen one because the clone wars is still canon and they say he is the chosen one. Rey isnt the chosen one she doesnt bring balance to the force she simply destroys the sith for the moment. Anakin brought balance because the jedi were too strong and the sith were on the edge of extinction. By killing the jedi he balanced it out and made it possible for the grey jedi like Luke to resurface and bring true balance by practicing both sides of the force and using it as the living force. Rey isn't a jedi ben isn't a jedi they're force users. Grey jedi if anything. The force was balanced before they showed up they're just maintaining the balance.
Yoda is plain when he says "a prophecy misread may have been " about Anakin. Anakin was just created by Palpatine for a body to possess later , when he was old (thats pretty solid fact).

All of these things should have been explained in the movie. We shouldn't need to go hunting for these answers after the fact, in order for things in the movie to make sense.

An X-Wing only needs four S-foils in combat. When it's just traveling through space, they fold into two. So Rey probably just didn't need four wings to fly Red Five.
Also, it's a spaceship. It shouldn't need wings at all.

Yes, but do remember that it is built for in-atmosphere use and combat as well, so wings do make sense. They just wouldn't need to be used in space.

Anakin is the chosen one. The possibility of him not being it contradicts not just the prequels and the OT, but also the saga as a whole (and also george’s idea). Star Wars is the history of the fall and rise of Anakin Skywalker, the chosen one, the one who would bring balance to the force
Misread, the prophesy could be. Also the chosen one should always have the high ground, so there.
Anakin wasn't the chosen one. It was assumed he was. He didn't bring balance to the force. He just tipped the scales completely in the opposite direction.
Before they butchered it all, it was clearly Luke who was the chosen one.

@@leohutter5426 well.....I'm not 100% up to Canon on this, but perhaps sith was in the original programming for a protocol Droid, or.....perhaps....since he was specifically a protocol Droid working with Jedi, he had an expansion pack that was added with ancient languages....? Then, as said in the film, when chancellor palpatine took office, droids were regulated to no longer be able to translate sith (for palpatines own protection of course).
Anakin built c3po, but he did so out of parts from waddos shop, and protocol droids were already a thing, so the programming we can assume was plug and play. Anakin didn't teach him 6m languages that he clearly says he knows by "a new hope".... It's a programming module.

The whole prophecy thing hasn't been mentioned nor even hinted at any of the episodes of the sequel trilogy.
The sith just reapeared in this third episode, and even then ther has been no mention, so untill this video I hadn't even pondered, like we are in a totally diferent space with the relationship of the force. Since there hasto be balance it will be always subjected to fluctuations, therefore the prophecy might have seen like something final before getting the sequel trilogy. With the new installments the prophecy seem to me completely irrelevant.

I really dont think it is. Anakin's force ghost references how he brought balance to the force in this movie. I think Rey was the final piece of that process, though. Anakin brought the population down to equal numbers and Rey finally balanced the ideologies.
Anakin is a male and the Force is female. He only had half the chromosomes needed to be the chosen one.

I just rewatched the "I am all of the Jedi" scene and there's a significant detail that really leans toward Anakin still being the chosen one. You'll notice that right before Rey says she's "all of the Jedi" she summons *Anakin's* lightsaber. Only after wielding Anakin's rebuilt saber can she finally overpower Palpatine and finish off the Sith. It seems that this is very clever and artistic symbolism for expressing how, without Anakin, none of this would've been possible. His legacy as the chosen one is carried out through all those who have wielded his lightsaber, Luke and Rey, and without his help neither of these protagonists would've survived against Palpatine: Anakin saves Luke in RotJ so that he can establish the Jedi Order, and Anakin, along with the other past Jedi, assist Rey in the final fight against the Sith in RoS. He's still the chosen one.

J.J. Abrams did say in a Q&A after one of the premieres that Fin was going to say that he was Force sensitive.
Also, it should be worth mentioning that the planet Kylo found his Sith wayfinder was Mustafar. It has since had its lava levels lowered, thus allowing vegetation to regrow. This is why we see Kylo's fight in an ashy forest.

Actually the Holdo maneuver was another retcon - someone asked 'can we pull a Holdo maneuver?', and then someone said 'no way, it's a one-in-a-million chance' (i don't remember who FInn was talking to at the time). So they retcon it from happening again, and explain why it hasn't been used in the past.
They also turned holdo into a coward because she had a higher possibility of escaping rather than hitting the ships

Those ones were First Order fighters, a later class of ship, apparently with hyperdrives, like Tie Defenders. The Tie Fighters on the Death Star wouldn't have had hyperdrives. Though if there were Tie Defenders that weren't destroyed, Kylo could have used them.

My headcanon is that it is very difficult to pull off. You have to align the ship, jump and hit your target before you move into hyperspace (which I think only gravity affects, or thats what it used to be). A star destroyer would see them lining up and have more than enough time to move out of the way before they jump - after all it's not even a degree change they need to make depending on distance. But that massive as dreadnaught? That was waaaaaay to big to just shift, but not big enough to have a shield that could withstand the hit. A target like the Death Star I see as having either A) a massive as shield, or B) enough mass to make jumping towards it not a thing. After all Imperial Interdicter ships "pulled" ships out of hyperspace by generating a significant gravity well giving ships on that line a surprise drop back into normal space often causing the target damage - and this is true in the current canon I believe, as it was done in a Rebels episode. Plus it is a massive waste of a capital ship especially for a group that traditionally doesn't have a lot of them.

Regarding force healing, it's been said that it has been used on previous Star Wars movies It was specifically mentioned that Obi Wan used it in A New Hope. He used the force to heal Luke after the sandpeople attacked. It was also mentioned that Palpatine used the force to heal Anakin during the transformation into Vader. Remember also that Rey had the ancient jedi texts. She probably learned about force healing from those texts.

I feel with Ben Solos case it could've have been Leia somehow linking her life force to her son's and once he completed his task he became one with the force. In Finns case he is starting to develop his force powers and that's what I feel he wanted to tell Rey.

1. Snoke is force sensitive according to written Star Wars lore
2. After 30 long years, The Death Star inevitably would’ve been moved or at the very least been erode by the ocean, whether or not another storm did occur within that span (which is pretty likely). Even if nothing moved the Death Star, how would the person who designed the knife know it wouldn’t.
3. It would be ok if Fyn was force sensitive, but they need to make that clear. If this is truly the final one, no stones should be left unturned that wouldn’t be solved in later projects like the mandalorian.
4. Why wouldn’t Palestine just stop using the force lighting if that is what they are using to destroy him?
5. The idea of force healing has been discussed in the lore, but has never been used to completely resurrect another person. Jedis are not even allowed to force heal, as it is the sith who would do would seek to live forever, as Jedis would never seek excess and believe everything happens for a reason. They don’t cling on to things as much as the sith.
6. Ghosts being immortal and able to call down lighting while hold a lightsaber, would totally be strong enough to kill palpatine.
7. The argument that Lando was able to able to gather millions of fighters in only a couple hours, when nobody came during a much much easier battle is rediculous.

I wonder if Palpatine was really the biological grandfather of Rey, or if it was more of an Anakin situation.

@@Dan_G.R.S. If Palps cheated death, then Anakin didn't bring balance. Who's to say he won't cheat death again just because he shriveled up in a CG explosion? There could be a spark left of him to light the fire that'll burn down the New New New New New Republic.
