Should one get a VPN on your streaming tv, a broken-into stick.?
Do they still make firesticks?
Great to see you back, could you please answer one ? I recently started having trouble with my firestick saying " home is unavailable " even though it IS connected to wifi and I have unplugged firestick and reset router, but STILL have same problem and only fix is to restart, and no viruses showing on scan. 🤔🙏
Hello a few suggestions I also had a Firestick do something similar. Are you having any issues with your other devices connecting to your home Wi-Fi, make sure to power off router for at least 5 minutes.. (needs to cool down & clear signals) If you're still getting that message on your fire stick... You probably can rule out your router If you're not having issues on other devices. My issue was with the firestick itself The Wi-Fi signal chip that was inside went bad mine was a fairly new device and I called Amazon and they sent me a new one. But one thing you can try is to do it a complete factory reset on your firestick. Before you do that it could be vpn issue here's a very helpful video from my buddy that explains some options for you & also goes over vpn possibility

@Stream & Tech NOW Thanks so much for responding, no issues with other devices, I tried with vpn on ( Ipvanish) and off and same thing happened, I will try router again, I so want to avoid factory reset because when you do that you loose everything.
@@Blackdog57 prioritize that stick to get the most data on the router. Put it in number 1 spot and give it full access full speed on router. There r a bunch of other settings u might wanna look into if your router has them. Multimedia function button. That helps. Google how to prioritize the fire stick to get the most data. I honestly forget every step. But it does work. Oh u can switch it from DHCP to static. Jus by doing that 1 thing helps like allot. Cheers hope that helps u

I can't delete apps in "Data Usage Monitoring" I can see the amount but can't delete all the stuff Amazon pushed onto my fire stick it's full and keeps reading "critically low delete apps". Can you help? Pleeeeaaassse
Hello unfortunately there's not an easy way to remove those apps, I agree it's ridiculous they force all of those apps on you at the same time giving you minimal storage, almost need to keep it streamlined with only the apps you actually use. However, depending on your firestick you can add storage easily by getting cheap otg adapter & flash drive for few dollars. Here's instructions:
How to Add Internal Storage to Fire OS 7
Select the Settings icon and then click My Fire TV after connecting your OTG adapter to a USB flash drive and a Fire TV Stick.
Click USB Drive. Then you can see two options: Eject USB Drive and Format to Internal Storage.
Click Format to Internal Storage. Once done, click OK.
