Great collection of Johnson motor applications including lots of Cypress Gardens skiing, kites, and racing boats and other boat related fun. Give it a look, maybe you'll see yourself!
Best outboards ever made. Still have my grandfathers 1971 Johnson 60HP. It's been on countless boats (wooden boat, speed boat, pontoon, etc) and has 10s of thousands of hours and still runs like a top, and never been rebuilt.
Every Evinrude that I ever had was a piece of crap. Every Johnson that I ever had ran great for years. I always heard they were the same. I used to laugh at my Dad when he claimed GMC was a much better truck than Chevrolet, but I had to rethink that thought based on my personal experience with Evinrude/Johnson outboards.

Those were the golden days of OMC for sure, so cool....
That was some of the coolest It makes me love my Johnson outboard even more.
Those Glastron Jetflites were cool little boats!!
Was so good. I had to come back and watch it again.
The Best money can buy.
:40 I remember these engines used to be so big! 140hp!
were did you get that from? completely the opposite! compare that motor to a 115hp 4 stroke. they weigh almost 2x as much.
My dad had a Johnson outboard in his boat
back in the day when things were simple
thats it! never gonna sell my 1975 50 horse
I don't blame ya!
What year was this? I'm thinking 76-78, somewhere in that range.
1977.
Too bad those boats didnt hit each other.

all 2-stroke engines are trash if you dont service or maintain them properly, 4-strokes needs far less maintenance.
@@ruffe7655Oh really, shows how much you don’t know.
That's peculiar because the part numbers are the same where it counts
