I swear to god, listening to these stories for the last few weeks has made me paranoid. I check my house when I come home to make sure nobody is hiding. I check my car when I get into it. I work a night shift job so I am alone most of the night in a group home full of teens, so I make sure nobody is lurking outside. Goddamn you Lazy, you've made me into a wreck!

first story was clearly a homeless man...many homeless have dogs to keep them company...perhaps he felt a little territorial about his "home" in the woods..
Tip for the vulgar notes story: get a gun. Preferably a 12 gauge so when he come to the door, rack it and he WILL run.

Lots of people commenting on my pronunciation of Maryland. That's how we all say it in England, I wasn't aware that it's pronounced differently in the US ^_^
I laughed when I noticed that, if I didn't know any better I'd read it that way too, but hey you can't get everything accurate all of the time. Who really cares, you choose great stories with a great delivery on them they are extremely entertaining. Thanks for the videos I can't get enough!

That man who wrote those letters seems really stupid. For one, he wants to do those things to an innocent woman, and two his grammar and spelling is atrocious.
i think that treatment would be too good.
He's possibly a poorly educated man with mental problems from the sound of it. A hitchhiker who possibly lives in the woods/streets and just really is a sicko with no morals. Having no idea how to function in society, as most are with these qualities.
What they can do is to learn how to use a fire arm, getting a paper that says they have the right to use and defend themselves. Also security camera or at least some form of watching their house is needed. It's costly, but when it comes to your life you need no expense. They can also learn self defense if need be and sleep with something nearby to defend themselves with.
I have one of these sickos at my work place, and honestly he freaks me the fuck out. And given how he acts it's very clear he isn't mentally stable, and really needs to get a life as he keeps showing female co workers nude pictures of his 'girlfriend'.
I've already resolved to myself that if this ass at my work tries anything he'll find out real fast why my family says I have a powerful kick. I hope I destroy something in the process at that.

On the stalker story concerning the mother of the submitter, I wish to help but do need to inform a disclaimer, firstly it has been years since my abnormal/forensic psychology studies back in college, thus my reading isn't 100% up to date and I am by no means a professional as I switched to developmental psychology and then later literature. So please take all of this with a grain of salt. The submitter asked 'why?', well the answer is quite simple, sexual deviant fantasy. The fantasy is advanced enough for this dedication and clearly has formed details, age is always difficult to acertain as a lot of issues can infere with maturity which can be misleading - socio development tends to be slower in rural areas making me want to place the stalker's age between 15 to 27 years old. His handwriting and phraseology is crude, careless, brutish and could suggest things like a low educational status/low intelligence and maturity, as well as heavy drug or alcohol abuse and/or previous mental health issues. So I'd hazard late adolescent, thus high school or secondary school age to early twenties (17-22 years) of rather low socio-economic status with rather poor academic record, as mentioned most likely due to drug/alcohol and mental health issues, he may be frequently unemployed and work menial tasks. The disorginased nature of his behaviour speaks volumes - he is no Ted Bundy, for sure.Low self-esteem and social skills. Doesn't care much about his own appearance. The stalker fixated on a woman, he has seen around, maybe had some kind of distant acquaintance with, a victim of opportunity. The mother of the submitter might not be the only one he is victimising but it's likely his most dominant target, his fixation on her has been going one for some time. I would hazard a strong voyeuristic auto-erotic component, strong pornography consument heavily featuring non consensual acts, he feels sexually inadequate. He may have engaged in non consensual frottage, obscene phone calls, exhibitionism and other non invasive sexual crimes. So is he dangerous? Yes under the right circumstances that is. A more vulnerable victim - a child, the elderly, the infirm or a druggie in a stupor would be quite endangered already. These men are cowards, most likely to use blitz attacks, but he is getting 'bolder' by showing up on the doorstep, which is worrying. Rural area means he likely has access to a car/truck, not new and somewhat untidy. He may 'graduate' to his intended victim given she is an a state of vulnerability. Due to his drug/alcohol and mental health issues (both in the form of a personality and/or thought disorder) his disorganised status is unlikely to change on its own, but make no mistake that doesn't mean he is harmless by any means - Think of Carmine Calabro. At first his wording implied what is called an intimacy seeking stalker but on review this is only part of his fantasy - he IS predatory and incompetent, NOT suffering from erotomania. Continue to badger the cops, document and archive *everything* - don't throw anything away. It may help to built a case in the future. Your safety comes first, do what you need to feel safe and protect your family. Sorry you have to go through this.

Why is the villain of the story always looking at you "smiling"?
It's in almost every story I've heard and it's starting to turn into a pretty lame cliche.
Its a horror device. If two people with good intentions ran into eachother in the woods at night, they'd be extremely startled at first, followed by laughing, discomfort or anger. If someone is smiling in this situation, it gives off the impression that the encounter was deliberate, or that the person encountered is not mentally stable.
And now I have a huge question, what if a creepy stalker from the forest started stalking a serial killer? That would be a good movie

Not really related to the scary part, but the story of the forest brough back that memory, I once also went with my family to one of the forest near my city and because it was a little bit dark you couldn't see too far, so I was walking around and I cross pats with another person but because I was shy as hell I didn't say anything even when they said 'hi' and because I also have a really bad resting face they thought I was some psycho so they ran away from me and even then I didn't react staying still (I was scared of them as well) and not even five minutes later I heard him scream and tell someone that they saw someone that looked dead or something like that, that's when I reacted and ran to my dad.And that's the story of how anxiety turns you in to a scary ghost.
ok here is my story... I was at least 6 or 7 years old coming back from my grandmother's in South Dakota. Any way my mom was pulling out of a Gas station when a dark green vehicle pulled behind us. My mom didn't think anything of it at first... the more we traveled the more the car followed everywhere we went.. it followed us. Eventually mom told us what was happening. I didn't panic much since I was so young but I was worried about my Lil sister. My mother tried to evade the car, nothing worked. Eventually we were in Wyoming. The car still copying our every move. My mother called my father to tell him what was happening, since he wasn't with us. I could tell my dad panicked by listening close to the phone... eventually we called highway patrol. They told us to keep moving... eventually the green car ran out of gas... Today I still don't know what happened to the driver... who he/she was or why they were following us...

What kind of parent doesn't give their kid's bike lights?
A normal one. A kid shouldn't be riding a bike in the dark at all, and anyone with the skill level to ride their bike at night would have the means to get a bike light.
Black flames31 I guess that's a culture difference then, cause it's normal for kids to ride in the dark here. Not at 11 pm of course but in the winter it gets dark pretty early and we also sometimes let them ride to school.

I figured your from Denmark cause of the Jutland in your name(my family is from Randers) and I live in the Northern US(not Alaska though) and it gets dark fairly early here as well. But kids aren't out after dark for many reasons (mountain lions pass through my city often) but mostly is that usually when it is dark before 5-6pm it's also very cold.
Not where I'm from. Where I live kids are supposed to get home before dark, and any kids out at night are usually teenagers that can drive.

For story 2, You need to get a pump action shotgun, hopefully you have done this already. There are low recoil home defense buck shot shells you can get that are easier for women to shoot and still will stop an intruder. I would also get a handgun, something easy to shoot like a 9mm, you cannot rely on the authorities when you live way in the country. That guy is very dangerous.

In response to #2; Get security cameras up covering all sides of your home. Get motion detection lights as well. Ask the police to make drive by's in your area every day for a week or two, maybe even a month, specifically your house/property. The poor bum won't have enough money to waste hanging around stalking your house/mom. Definitely get guns; shotgun, and handgun would be nice. Get familiar asap with your firearms. If your state allows, get a concealed carry permit. Get mace, and carry at all times. Pocket knives too. Rescue an adult dog. Make sure you and your mom bond with this dog as quickly as possible so that he'll want to protect you both, and your property. Keep him inside with you both. Let him run outside and get familiar with the smells in his home area so that he can tell when anything new/uninvited comes around, so that he can warn you both. If you do the things I've mentioned, this piece of shit has no idea he'll be the one afraid. Your preparedness and his stupidity should give you comfort knowing you'll always have the edge/advantage over any BS that comes along. Lastly, don't be afraid of this piece of shit. Be ready, be strong, and never back down. It's better to go down swinging, then to go down without a single swing. Be merciless, make him pay for his wrong doing onto you and your mom.

To anyone complaining about the “I-Can’t-Even-Describe” phrase that appears in these stories: it’s not meant to be literal, since they obviously do describe it. It’s more hyperbolic, and probably refers to their mindset at the time of the story. Maybe. I dunno.

Am I the only one who thinks credibility is lost with stories like the first one where the poster adds unnecessary things like "My medium ranking karate student brother" and "My Army Sergeant Mp with a Bronze Star dad"? Like, omg we get it, you vape!
wow..from reading some of the updates on story # 2.. the mom is stubborn as hell..and plus they lived in Iowa..there's nothing out there..no police department, just a small shierff sub station..probably never saw any action in a small community..maybe thats why they are not taking it serioisly..until it happen , by then its too late..i feel for this person concerned for his/her mother safety..
I don't know if the notes are genuine or not so I'll just assume they are for safeties sake.
The writing is very odd, not just the message as that's obviously disturbing, or the poor spelling, but the style of writing. It looks almost child like in form, the sort of writing you see 5 year olds doing as they develop their skills. Yet the message is so intense it's not a kid writing it. So I'm guessing someone with a really low level of education or just serious mental health issues. A person could have both these problems of course but to me it smacks of someone that is educationally subnormal first and foremost.
Probably a hoax though considering the channel it's on, people love to make up stories.

this is a story where that had scared the shit out of me, it is when my friends and i would walk home, this is for everyone to see idc really but my friends and I their was a good 5 of us and we take the same route all the way home their was a house that was diserted and we thought it was a good idea to look at it i was only 10 at the time and didn't care just wanted to be cool and fit in so i went with them now i look back on it and think it was stupid to even go on the property but we had went into it, this all happened in south bend but we went on the property and just had a little fun my friend brought a football cause we all played and we thought cause it was a open field it was small but you could still play and we had played for awhile and then i had looked at the house and saw someone in the window staring at us i thought that the house was empty because it looked warn down and i had told my friends and they said we could just play a little bit longer but i wanted to leave if someone lived their i wanted to make sure i was gone but the said it was ok so we played another round i was on offence and i went to catch a ball and i was running and out back i saw the same person this time with something behind his back, i luckly always carry a pocket knife around just for safety because you never know i ran back to my friends only being 10 i was pretty fast but i ran and got my backpack on and said we needed to leave they had no clue what was going on, my friends are all the same age so it was ok, but they saw i was really scared and left with me, they had asked me what had happened and i said someone was living their and had something behind their back i thought it was a knife but didn't want to stay long enough to find out, as we walked out of there i looked behind us and we had saw someone walking behind of us me being me i thought it was the same guy my friends said not to worry and that we could just jog to make it a little but faster to get home we all live in the same neighborhood so we could easily get home and not have to drop people off so we started to jog but i looked back and he was still there this time he was jogging to and then i went into a running type and so did my friends they had seen him to while we where walking and it was the same man from the house so i was running in front of my friends and then i looked back and he was sprinting at us so i of course shitting my pants sprinted and then all my friends looked back and started to sprint too but there was 5 of us and if he got one of us we could maybe take him, i thought that but he looked like he knew what he was doing so we had started to run faster and faster until i looked back and he was gone just as fast as he was their me and my friends can all say that it scared us really bad now i am 13 in 8th grade and i can still remember what he was wearing his stupid jeans and a black shirt.

From the many stories i have been listening to i have learned a number of lessons, and bear in mind this includes the watching of stories about serial killers.
1. Make your home a friggin fortress.
2. Be sure it is on lockdown everywhere (including from tunnelling or neighboring loft access)
3. Include garden defences-Thorny bushes, high walls and gates, even electrify if legally allowed
4. Keep a vehicle in tip top condition and totally fuelled for long trips, tint windows, have mess in the back you can hide under and be undetected. Have a weapon in the car. Keep stuff that can quickly fix minor issues if en route somewhere and not near a garage
5. Plan a route for driving and avoid being anywhere lonely and away from civilization at night, and in the day if possible.
6. Stop for no one, open the door to no one (unless you have a porch with strong windows and locked door.
7. Have internal and external cams and a safe room (have cams go to your phone)
8. Have weapons,have a strong dog
9. Never ever go anywhere alone if it can be helped
10. Fuck camping alone or even in a small group, in the woods etc
unless you have some firepower or are seriously bad mofo's
I could add a ton more but if i assumed these true stories were half bullshit that still leaves half of them creepy as shit and true.
