I am having a terrible time making the 3 tier pocket. I have watched the video more than a dozen (or even 2 dozen times). Once I cut the line inside, I can never make the 3rd tier - except by fudging it. Maybe I am the only person with this problem .... by the way, I have tried 20 or so times with the paper, Any advice? I just can't seem to get things right on #3. @joie_de_fi @joie.defi.5 @joiedefi ❤️❤️❤️

I'm not sure why I find the three-tier pocket concept so difficult to grasp. I've watched the video several times and you explain and demonstrate it very well, so I'm quite certain the fault lies with me--my only consolation is that you, too, hesitated at one point in the video getting the direction of your pocket straight! Thank you, as always for your ideas and creativity. Now to watch the video again--

As a beginning journal maker, these are just what I need to see. I love the ideas for books to consider for pockets.
If you will carefully cut some of the edge parts that remain on the spine from tearing pages from your book, your other pages will tear more cleanly.

I have taken up watercolor painting ❤❤. I have loads of books, I probably could start my own neighborhood library 😊. I’m trying to get organized with my craft supplies etc so I can get back into making pretty journals!!! Your voice is absolutely so relaxing. Thank you for the videos!!

I love this process of choosing different sizes of paper stash, textures and colors .. I have so much here now to choose from as I did not know where to start 🤔 I have always torn out and collected interesting pages out of magazines. Now I can pull some of these and make some interesting pockets ect🤔🤗☕💖

joie de fi pretty close to your pockets, it’s just a standard size libraries used to use to hold their checkout cards in books. The back is longer than the front, it’s a single pocket.
