Hey man. Thanks for a great, informative video. Your video is the only video that I've seen the install performed using a torque wrench. I really appreciate that added touch. I'm going to watch your video again tomorrow when I install a new Katech throttle body on my C7. Thanks again.
I followed your instructions to a Tee, except for dropping a screw, and everything went well. I’m enjoying the extra 10hp that I’m getting. The throttle response is immediate evident. Thx again.
Hey Patrick, thanks for your comment, I appreciate your attention to those details! I like to do things right even if it takes a little longer and have that extra peace of mind! Super happy it went well man!!! Nice job on the install, its fun mod and very glad you felt a noticeable difference. Im glad to help let me know if you need anything. I have plenty of other mods including flex fuel sensor install and even a tune 👀 just need to make the time to edit all these videos…. Your comment shows me that I have atleast helped one person and that motivates me to make more videos… thanks again enjoy that vette 🙌🏼
Hey sorry for such a late reply, in all honesty I didn’t feel it pull crazy hard or anything like that. It did make easier for the dead spots in the manual though, butt dyno felt okay after the install though, now I have an intake as well so more variables. Im going to tune it soon, maybe that’ll put the porting to more use!
Very nice video... Hi im looking to upgrade my TB for a 2011 Chevy Colorado 2.9L Aftermarket high performance Ported Bored or polished Any suggestions ??? Thanx
Hey Juan, All the porting and and intake mods can only do so much to give you power until you tune. Any of those methods, ported, bore or polish all will help with air flow when upgrading a throttle body. I am sure you will feel a difference in response. Let me know what you end up doing, im interested, hope it goes well!! 😎
@@BarelyFastMedia thanx buddy im working on it! This weekend the truck enters the machine shop to port the head, paint the valve cover, put new injectors, put an oil catch can and also Tune n upgrade the ECU… so i cant wait to see the result of my street race n drift mini truck Saludos desde Ensenada México! 🍀🎶🍻🤙🏼😉
I needed them for grip when taking out the throttle body connector 😅 nah but for reals I promise they aren’t always like that. Thanks for the comment 🤙🏼

it helps with off the line throttle response and eliminating that stutter that you mentioned.
Glad it worked out for you! 💪🏼
So after awhile. Does it feel better now that the computer has learned the airflow?
