Before you use it too much Paul get yourself one of those black hob mesh mats to protect the hob glass which can be left on when cooking and is washable.

They are good. Especially how fast they heat things up.

we’ve got an induction, when we first got it we had to buy all new saucepans as special ones were needed.
Unfortunately yes.....but it soon pays for itself like air fryers have!!
