Just what I was waiting for !! Wish I had the extra cash for an X9000 !! You guys are living the E Bike life ...Congrats and can't wait for the range & top-end demos !! Loving the channel guys !!
I just had the x9000 and ebmx motor show up at my house. Gonna attempt the install today. Got the new swing arm too. Hopefully it's a whole different animal tomorrow
Not sure the logic on a BIGGER rear sprocket when you have MORE torque after the 72V swap...certainly the 72V will make your stock motor turn faster (because Kv). if you just want to trade some of the increased top speed for even MORE torque then that makes a little bit of sense...
@@Zackattack94 Yeah, got it, just commenting that it isn't because of higher torque (which was the comment why went with larger sprocket) of the new upgrades you would go this way...under that premise, you would also like the larger sprocket even with original setup (more even). Just saying, gear reduction is normally a way to get MORE torque (not a way to detune it). If the hit/snap was too much with the new higher voltage, you have ways to change the hit/response in the X-9000 tune. Oh, and good channel. Jealous of the Moab trip and getting to play with all these upgrades. Looking at RFN for Idaho riding.
@@jeffmcclain it’s true for power upgraded surron or not. A bigger rear sprocket gives more torque and lowers top speed. It changes the throttle response no matter what power you have coming out the bike. Bigger rear sprocket makes more sense for off road applications and/or bigger wheels. Just because you get the controller upgrade and power upgrade the 48 tooth sprocket is not good enough for off-road/ low end torque. Ultra bee is a better option then better then the RFN imo
I think the larger sprocket puts less strain on the motor and with the ability to adjust field weakening and spin the motor faster you still have an increased top speed.
Yes that was the wrong wording on our side, we go larder because it does feel better as mentioned and with an aftermarket controller you can spin up the motor and still get a really high top speed but also have good torque.
Watching these videos makes me a little jealous. 2 years ago my fiancé and I were assaulted by a man who has now been found schizophrenic. I just started a new job so I didn’t have health insurance yet and had to sell my 1 year old Honda cf125 and my new truck back to the dealer ship to pay for the surgery. I would love to own a talaria sting r one day
Hey there, I crashed my talaria so I ordered a new seat but I can’t figure out how to remove the seat. I would appreciate if you could make a video on how to remove the xxx seat
Thanks guys for all your hard work for us !!!!, Question , I can't seen to find rear shock taller linkage for my 2024 mx4. I was wondering if you used the surron on on your Bike ?? where can I get it ... Thanks again :)
Thanks for your help guys. I just installed the Warp9 linkage from the link above. I really like the way it sits now. Question. Do you notice a slight bit of play now if you lift up on the back end of the bike. It looks/feels like maybe the stock bolt/bolts are ever so slightly smaller and there is a little play in there? Side question lol. I am getting ready to install my new MotoSeat, did you remove the stock seat cover or just go over it ?? Hey thanks again Talaria Boys for the Killer content :)@@Talariaboys
tney've been out of 72v42ah in stock for more than a week I can't wait until they get it chai has it for $2300 but I can wait and spend that 300 on toward the controller lol. love your vids
Does the sxs skid plate fit the x9000 controller? Charged cycle works has a footnote saying it don't fit the talaria? I have same battery and controller on order for my sting R and I need a skid plate.
I'm sorry for your loss, that's why I haven't ridden mine all that much, in the city at least. I'd say if you get another one, invest in a really loud alarm and not one but two GPSs, one they find and one they don't! One of those chains you can't cut with bolt cutters. Annnd, because the mx4 has a VIN, you can also get insurance on it! Usually, you get a discount for having a GPS too!
Instead of cutting your bike frame I would suggest removing those two screws and going to your local hardware store and getting some flat head Allen screws to replace them so it will slide right in and you doyhave to notch frame
I’ve red the mx3 can handle rpm up to 10k while the mx4 is around 8k. I can’t decide on mx3 or mx4. I also can’t decide on what aftermarket battery and controller to get. I’m trying to be able to ride for 3-4 hours while being able to hit 60-65 mph when I want. Some guidance would be appreciated

Can you do a range test on this battery
yes please do this, yall are like the first to do 72v sting r's

Is it a whole different animal ? Looking Forward To Buying A Talaria
@ayocxrry-2435 it's gnarly dude. I also got a charged cycle works 72v 57ah battery. It feels crazyyyyy
@@SurFrankenRon is the battery lid crazy looking ? Can you I see a picture of how that battery lid looks . I’m Scared It May Look Ocky

Bigger sprocket feels better though. Personal preference

Well you tried begging for a free bike. Guess it didn't work.
Sounds like you should’ve been packing some heat. Don’t let people let you live in fear
I have a Talaria MX4. Thanks for the cool vids.
Love it. You guys are good friends.
Fyi the black wbd white bike with the white rims looks amazing.
Link to the double headlights?? Thanks boys!
Its just 2 Grit Shift Blinder Headlights custom wired in.
Whats the distance on that thing now?
Atleast 30-40 miles of decent riding
Congrats, Reid! I’ll see you Tuesday night for the drop off.
Thanks for bringing it home! I can’t wait to try it!

Thanks for the code I saved $60 on the x9000
Sweet! 🤙
I'm liking Alex's the all white wheels are purty
i am a little late but if i get the ebmx 72v battery do i need a different battery lid for the bike ??
Not sure where the discount is for the skid plate as I’d life to buy one….
A little late to the party but this is for talaria sting right? The original not the sting r or mx3?
There is no other original sting, there is only Sting mx3 or R and yes this works for both.
Nice surprice another good video keep it up talaria boys
Hello from PG UTAH in the process of getting a Talaria from powerhouse where can I find a better head light.
The grit shift blinder headlight is always a good choice!
How did you get the horn off
Countersink the screw hole with a low profile flathead hex screw. No need to cut the frame.
My x9000 came in yesterday. Would it be the same steps as L1E version talaria?
Yes should be the same
Thanks guys for all your hard work for us !!!!, Question , I can't seen to find rear shock taller linkage for my 2024 mx4. I was wondering if you used the surron on on your Bike ?? where can I get it ... Thanks again :)
This is a riser linkage that we use! It’s a noticeable difference www.warp9racing.com/product/talaria-sting-mx3-mx4-linkage/

Can you attach pegals to the talaria
Yes they have pedal kits available
Just because you can does not mean that you should.
for their website it says for surron only does it also work with a talaria sting r?
What are you asking about? The x-9000 works with both talaria and surron
tney've been out of 72v42ah in stock for more than a week I can't wait until they get it chai has it for $2300 but I can wait and spend that 300 on toward the controller lol. love your vids
They should have them back in stock soon!
I want an x9000 and i love reeds setup.
What size wheels/tires are on the white wheels? Also, when are you going to loan your bike to charged for their next video!!!???
Alex's white wheels have 18/21 wheels with Dunlop Mx33 tires front and back! Ya we need to do a video with Charged huh!
Do you guys know if that battery will be in stock on their website any time soon?
only issue i see with this video is slotting the frame
It’s a little unconventional but it works great!
I would like to upgrade my talaria mx4 like you boy
I can hit 70 with my nano 72v battery. Such an awesome upgrade. Thats more than 3k in upgrades.
Can you tell us how to upgrade properly?
I feel like it's a better idea to dremel those screws on the battery flat, than it is to ruin the frame of the bike
That’s another option I guess but I recommend doing what we did.
Does the sxs skid plate fit the x9000 controller? Charged cycle works has a footnote saying it don't fit the talaria? I have same battery and controller on order for my sting R and I need a skid plate.
Yes the skid plate works great. I’m not sure why the charged cycle works website says that but there is a lot of room
@Talariaboys thanks man, I'll get it ordered! Getting excited for the 72 volt power!!
they are sold out of that size battery already good job guys they owe you some money
Was in the midst of getting the funds for my controller and 72v swap until my MX4 was stolen today while I was at work

Dang that's horrible! Hopefully that gets figured out!
So you can’t just let off the throttle and it regen? I like the Sting R set it and forget it.
I think you can set it up either way with the X9000
@@Dommy_Doo I hope so, having to hit a thumb lever when I want engine braking would 100% make me not get that controller.
Yes you can set it up either way. I like having no Regen until I hit the lever but you can just set it so there is regen when you’re off the throttle.
@@Talariaboys I’m a fan of the “Engine Breaking” like my dirtbike. But I’m riding MX and racing my Talaria a lot.

What is that talaria? MX3 or MX4?
Mx4
@@Talariaboys Can the MX3 engine handle this upgrade?
Yes it can handle this just can't run quite as much power, more like 15-16kw instead of 20

talaria mx4 mx3 or xxx ?
Mx4
Sweet
It’s not a surprise if it’s his money
We bought everything without him knowing.
Why is Alex in the backgrond in every video, he'sjust staring and smiling awkwardly for most of the video lol
I’m just there to supervise Lance haha
Alex is the Man!
Put your helmet on!!!! I want a 9000 lol
Man don't cut your bike buy 2 replacement counter sunk screws of the same thread and length.
