- How do you apply to Medical School in Poland? Don't worry in this video I walk you step by step through the application process for 3 universities: Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Medical University of Warsaw, and Medical University of Gdansk. PLUS things I wish I knew before I started my application!
I also summarize the process in case these are not one of the schools you are wishing to apply to.
If it is your dream to study medicine in Europe or study medicine in Poland, this video will help you navigate the not-so-user-friendly medical school websites. We will also talk about which documents are required for medical school in Poland.
Here are the links used in the video to find the Polish Medical School application websites:

Where are you currently enrolled or where do you plan to apply???
6th year gulag student here
I can not stress this enough
MEDSCHOOL IN POLAND IS AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE
She has no idea whats coming
There is still so much pain ahead of her
The universities in Poland are absolutely unorganized and disinterested in their foreign students
If you do not speak polish you are basically a third tier student in their eyes, there is almost no support and you will be teaching yourself for the most part
Medical school is hard enough but with the arbitrary obstacles that arise in poland it is just NOT WORTH YOU'R TIME
If you do not speak polish you will have a much worse learning experience here due to the massive language barrier ( I do speak polish so it hasn't affected me personally however I can see my colleagues struggling a great bit)
Additionally if you plan to work in the EU or US it is NOT the way to go at all
USMLE is tough as hell and the polish curriculum is not aimed to prepare you for it the slightest
Regarding EU: Many countries require you to be licensed in order to work
Acquiring your license is a lot harder if you do not speak polish
On top of all of this the unis vary wildly
Her experience ( as short as it is) only reflects her institution with her being a polish speaker
This is NOT reflective of other institutions in poland
Also
If you are LGBTQ+ or a POC poland is maybe not the place to go to.... You will be met with racism and sexism and general bigotry not only in public but also at uni
There are other pathways to go when it comes to fulfilling your dream of becoming a doctor
Look into Riga or the Prague
@@TubeMRHappy lol what?

Hello. Thanks for the efforts in making this video. I would like to ask about the possibility of having admission into the second semester as I’ve just graduated from high school or should I wait till the next September intake.
Unfortunately there is no possibility of second semester admission. But you can go ahead and prepare your application to submit in Spring 202. This will allow you to begin in September of 2021. Good luck! Let me know if you have any other questions!
hey, do you mind sharing your stats, is it hard to get in Jagiellonian University?

Hello katie, Can i apply for transfer in 3rd year of medicine
i am student in lviv national medical university is it possible i want take transfer in poland university
How does this work if I already have a 1st degree from an accredited American University?
Hey how much I need to score in competency test for uni of warsaw?
What do you think about Medical University of lodz? Btw great video 💯👌
I’m not very familiar with it unfortunately
helo miss ketie I AM 1st year college students here in philippines at misamis university taking medical technology I plan to study transfer in poland soon can i continue study in 2nd yr ? in poland?
Katie, for JAG are most of first years lectures in the faculty address on their website? I’m trying to narrow down apartment locations that are within walking distance from the lectures. So far I’ve been looking around stare miasto
For first year you’re going to want to stay somewhere close to the anatomy building on kopernika street and the central building (CDK) on Łazarza street. That’s where you’ll spend 80% of the class time! Some classes you’ll have closer to the university hospital In prokocim, but only a few first year! Personally I’d try to be within 15 minutes walking to those places - especially for a 8am class 😂
@@KatieSkoczen Thanks! Is it mostly the same in second year as well?
@@MrMusickey more or less, I’m currently a second year and we were mostly online because of the pandemic 😅😅😅 so I can’t be 100% certain
hello, if you don't mind me asking, may i know what's the salary of doctor in Poland after tax?
My exams are coming up. The stress is palpable😬 Just checking, are there loads of chem, physics calculations for the exam and their interviews or was it more the theoretical knowledge?
I don’t remember exactly, but I don’t think there were many calculations. More theory! Good luck!!!
How can I apply for postgraduate after I graduate did mbbs in Ukraine
Is there entrance exam very tough, or is there any medical University without entrance exam ,based on our high school grades . Thanks in advance.
hi! this video really helped me! i just wanted to know how to study for the competency test and what resources you used. any specific question banks? also how much do your high school grades matter when applying?
I just used Kaplan mcat study books with the subjects mentioned on the website. Biology, chemistry etc. I didn’t know of any question bank. The high school grades don’t matter. Only the entrance exam score.
@@KatieSkoczen thank you so much for your help!
@@piasood128 of course! Let me know if I can help with anything else
Can you give us a hint how the questions were
Thank you for the video, i just have a question, what is the competency test? What is it about?is it online?
The test is meant to determine your knowledge on the basic preliminary medical sciences (biology, chemistry etc). The test will be online in 2021 due to the pandemic.
@@KatieSkoczen ohh, thank you so much
Can I transfer from Ukrain to Poland . For fourth year
Hi, I wanna ask that Is there any possibility of migration for medical student from Kyrgyzstan to Poland? If there is then what's the criteria? Kindly confirm it for me.
Sorry I don’t know that information. You would probably need to obtain a student visa.
@@KatieSkoczen obviously i will get study visa in Poland. But right now need information about migration. Kindly help me about it
What books do you suggest I should get to study for the entrance exam ??
I would check out khan academy or Kaplan. You can also check just general textbooks for the subjects
Is it possible to get transfer in medical universities of Poland?
If it is possible then tell me about the procedure please 😊
I don't know about the transfer process. Sorry
Is it mandatory to give country entrance exam for Poland medical school

thanks for the video but could you explains few things I have doubt in;
I hold Indian nationality and I want to pursue MBBS in Poland but I came across few negative feedbacks about Poland medical collages and specially how they treat Indians , I am getting second thoughts about going , also I heard that the exams are quiet tough and almost 60% students don't pass the MBBS degree and instead of 7 years they might take 8-9 years
I would be really great full to you if you could HELP ME OUT a bit as I am in kinda mess
If you consider Philippines. Message me ( isamsinghania) in instagram
I dont know about the MBBS program, sorry! I also cannot speak for the Indian experience in poland, but I can say my class is pretty diverse and inclusive of everyone!

Sorry I am not aware of these programs as I only research the MD programs.
I'm a polish American, with mediocre polish language skills. Do you think I'd have a shot??
