    Good content! Worth adding that there are 15 medical universities in Poland(as compared to 4 in Norway lol), and they vary a lot in terms of curriculum/quality. The general amount of clinical experience and bedside teaching is astonishing though.

      @@usmanmalik7640 What kind of question is that? There are thousands of medical students studying in Poland. So it looks like quite a lot of people find it to be worth it. Now if it is worth it for you specifically is up to you to decide.

      @@usmanmalik7640 Lower in quality because of what? As of now Poland is 7th in EU by medical research, and 7th in the world by PISA results. The universities themselves of course vary in quality, like in any country. With the best ones like Jagiellonian and Warsaw being on a whole different level than Bialystok or Pomorskie.

    Hi what about retaking exams if you fail them? In germany u only can retake the exam 2 times and after that u fail it completly and cant study anymore

    Do you think the GPA requirements for Medicine in Norway will increase again?
    Right now it’s at 69,5 (6,95) to enroll at UiO for «ordinær opptak». It has increased by 0,5 for two years straight now.

    I’m an American and will be graduating from college with an undergraduate biomedical engineering degree (4 years of college) in a year. For reference, in America we also complete 4 years of high school before attending college. If I want to study medicine in Europe, do I need to retake all these science and math classes that I have already taken and still study for another 6 years or can I take a test to skip retaking classes and shorten my time in med school (in America, med school is for 4 years)?

    for de som ønsker å søke til medisinstudiet i utlandet, anbefaler å søke til Split croatia, er veldig billig å bo, syden og mye bra lærere.
    vet at det er mye korrupsjon i polen og at lærere kan stryke deg om de ikke liker deg

      @@samma995 If your condition is more complex than breastplasty or a cold you want a doc who is very smart. Not all universities are equal, not all doctors can do critical thinking, and critical thinking saves lives. Also, Uni Oslo is great on human rights. Poland right now, not so much. :/

Similarly, the opinion on freedom and human rights in Poland is shaped by the media and polarized leftist circles. I guarantee you that the freedom of the media in Poland, compared to Norway and Sweden, is simply exemplary. Unfortunately, they are polarized, but there are always 2-3 different views.

      and for your question, i think it depends on your budget, Warsaw is more expensive.

      Budget wise, its ok but my fear is that Krakow may be a bit too small in terms of things to do. It is 6 years after all 😅

      If your goal is to move back to your home country which is a Non-EU country, I would advise you to check if you need to take any exams in order to get your Polish medical diploma approved.

      @@fidaasaad9304 I suggest you to check other countries as well, like Hungary, Bulgaria etc. They’re also quite popular among European students who want to study abroad :)
