My dad gave me his 1970 4 X 4, 3/4 ton, 392 CI, 5 speed with OD and granny gear (yeah, try to find that on a truck now), same "metallic lime green" as this one, bought it new for $5,500. . . I found an old receipt in it that was for gas at 15 cents a gallon . . . As a kid I remember going from Canada to Mexico and every state west of the Mississippi during summer vacations. . . every other weekend of summer camping and fishing, fall we went Grouse hunting, winter Deer hunting and skiing, sledding, inner tubing, and never had any problems from the truck. It sat unused for 10 years so I replaced and restored some things as a precaution, nothing was bad. For the next 20 years that beast took my wife and kids and I anywhere we wanted to go and never let us down or stranded us, it was like a friend and I miss it everyday. . .
wwwooowww …..we had either a 1970 or 1971 …..same color and woodgrain panel ….not a 4x4 tho …..not an auxillary gas tank ...just one ….and interior was a different design if I remember right ….and when it was bought new did not come with a/c …..dad put in an a/c unit himself after market …..I always laugh ...we had one of the first SUVs yyyyeeeaarrrsss ago …..thanks for sharing …….and is this considered a classic car now ???? …..who would da thunk that ...hahahahaha

Did it have 2 gas tanks??
This guy really likes door jams
Very nice !! Those were very tough vehicles we had 2 1210s and a 1110 pick ups and they were great trucks 1972 and 1973 models !!
I wish I didn't live in the rust belt. I'd buy this in a second!
It's a good truck good stance everything very good stance
That truck is beautiful.
My neighbor's dad worked for IH and tbey had one of these. I think it was yellow.
Sweet!
my first car was a 1973 2 wheel drive with AMC 401
Love it!
There was a green one like this running around in my neighborhood well into the '90s.
AM/FM radio was also available.
Did you sell that yet?
What does the "1010-1210" label(s) designate ?
awesome 👍👍👌
I don't think anything from 1971 had door gaps that good.
Nice truck how much
392 V-8? I guess that is a new engine!
International Harvester 392 engine.
Nice
Nice truck!
But no head rest in the back, tough on long drives for an adult

What a dream-truck that is. I’d prefer that with its 90K miles, for my 3 boys and I, over ANY 2020 Suburban or Expedition with 0 miles. EASILY.
A very nice firm ride or a very harsh stiff ride? Nice bs sales pitch brah 😐
