Hello Neal! Thank you for being here, my friend... Regarding the measurement standard, I always use this one in my projects, as it's the official standard around here... I hope this doesn't deter you from this channel. You can easily convert measurements knowing that an inch equals 254 millimeters or 2.54 centimeters... God bless. #woodworking #woodwork #joinery

I commend you for using metric! Imperial is difficult to measure accurately. Metric is so easy to calculate and measure accurately. So in doing the second step in marking square, you didn't use any marking gauge. I get that it's perfectly fine if you know what you're doing and can see square and level (as I can) but how can you confirm? What blade are you using for the dado cuts? There are a heck of a lot of different blade grinds, but I'll assume you're using a TBG or some other that allows you to get a smooth cut at the top? Come on, man! If you're going to do these cuts, share what bevel grind blade you use. It makes a difference and you know it. Don't be like a Grandmother that intentionally leaves out a key ingredient.

Looks good. I would probably sand the 4 interlocking pieces before doing the cuts. That way you don't need to worry about getting a sloppy fit.

Hello William! Yes, my name is Alisson. In the country where I was born, this name is masculine.... Thanks for the comment... Cheers friend!

Nice project but you need to get the definitions of what the router bit will do. It is NOT a round over, but a chamfer.
Hello David! Thank you for noticing that detail, indeed a bevel was made and not rounding the edges.... But if the edges had been rounded, it would also look very good... Health, Peace, and Happiness, my friend!
