In the first ever episode of the GROOM ROOM, these barbers share accounts of awkward/weird/alarming encounters with customers as well as what's its like being a girl in a male dominated industry .

Alot of female barbers from my experience havent got an eye for detail, think clients don't have an eye for detail and rush the cut alot of time and struggle with new styles that men pick up naturally but then that is a very general observation local to the area where I work. We don't get many female clients in the barbers and don't encourage it either.
Damn i feel you, male and female regardless. They'll rush you and convince you that that's the best they can do. Then again, how much you're payin and their business models are also major factors here.

I wont pretend like i wouldn’t be hesitant to have a lady cut my hair, because the couple ive seen were pretty bad, but as long as i could see a couple people go before me and get a great cut, then i wouldn’t care at all. I just want to see the cuts. So barbers having instagram pages is usually necessary for me to go to them.
