Nice Tie!! Thank you for another great pattern! One addition I make to a very similar fly is to tie in and wrap a dyed guinea feather to make a head to push more water causing the tail to move more. Looking forward to more!!
Nice fly. Something that just dawned on me, when you cut those bead chain segments off you make a rattle. I guess you learn something new every day. Keep the good stuff coming.
I subscribed to your channel a few years back when I had first started tying. After a hiatus I have been re-exploring as of late. I am struck by how influential you have been on my personal tying. I do the same thing with the Beatles. Not with tying, but ... I think you know what I'm trying to say :)
You just know this is going to be a good pattern because of that pine squirrel. Almost like a grown-up Slumpbuster but I don't see the resemblance to an Intruder.
The OPST guys use a weird double hitch in the trailing braid so that the hook is bound to the hide of the zonked pine squirrel. Do you ever do that with this pattern?
I know the technique and like the idea but haven't actually done it myself. This one has been working so well as is, I'm kinda hesitant to mess with it.
This looks fantastic!! Could also very easily be tied with a traditional streamer hook unlike a lot of intruder patterns, definitely giving this a try!
The hook is very easily changed as is. The Fireline loop is long enough to allow the whole hook to slip through it. The Fireline loop with two strands also provides an extremely robust connection between the hook and the shank and the added stiffness helps the fly to ride correctly when swung.

Two days before i saw your video, Tim, i tied a similar streamer with EP fibers instead of the brahma hen... Works well too!
Excellent and informative ⚠️🐟

tightlinevideo 10-4…this seems more straightforward, especially when it comes to switching out hooks. Thanks!
Makes me want to buy a 7wt to I can chuck this meat! Great fly and video!!

Nice streamer
What scissors are you using?
juicy
Why not just tie the fireline to the end of the shank? 🤔 That would also make it easier to change the hook if necessary.

Nice flee, bit of a stretch to call it an intruder.
