Hey there, great video! I was just wondering how I reattach the inner piece that you’ve reupholstered to the rest of the door card. Do you just use some sort of glue?

Once the insert is in position on the door card the handle will hold it in place. Refitting the star washer will hold to the card on one side and it wraps around the other side. Once the handle is screwed to the door it is all pulled in place.

couldn't you just restick the original leather back on?

You could try but it would be difficult to align all the creases and cut outs perfectly.
