The trick is to wear clothes in your size that fit your body that are clean, not stained and steamed/ironed. You rarely go wrong with that. I would also say no hoodie and baggy jeans or obnoxious print t-shirts and leggings instead of pants.
For a more elegant version of your blue cord jacket, try the matt velvet blazers from Mango, much more chic, available in midnight blue and other colours. Darker wash jeans would be more flattering and slimming and more suitable for colder weather
Agree with the jeans, that’s the reason I picked a light wash :) easier to demonstrate how the blazer acts when it’s near a piece that’s essentially very casual. I’m not looking for new blazers, but it’s great to know about the Mango versions you mentioned. Thanks so much for sharing!
Such a useful video, Mila! I agree with all your tips and suggestions. I work full time in the diplomatic field and I have always dressed in a way that allows me to feel confident and polished. I recently changed positions to the operational side and what a new world opened up 😊jeans are fine as long as they are neat and adding a blazer makes it totally acceptable for my daily life. Dressing monochromatically is one way that I ensure I feel put together and polished. Also having good accessories including well taken care of shoes and bags.
Always love your insights, Cristina! Thank you so much for sharing! You must look amazing and polished in the outfits you described, I never had to wear such looks but I love the idea so much!! Monochromatic is super handy when we’re in a hurry (or not). I just love how elegant and chic it makes us feel! 🤗
Such a helpful video! Do you have any brands that you'd recommend for blazers? I'm pear-shaped and I feel better in single-breasted blazers but I'm struggling to find ones I really like
Thank you! I have some really nice flowy ones from Goelia (these are usually great for us with curves) rstyle.me/+Rk3DU-T_PAAGpDzCp3InLQ This corduroy one is my absolute favorite but it’s very old (from Tommy Hilfiger). I have one black in wool from Ralph Lauren rstyle.me/+HF_pZZProw68Jdcw2b97Ug, great quality and fit and a couple from H&M from years ago. I’ll do some research and maybe a video about it!

Thank you. My go to uniform for 40 years was a tailored blazer, slacks or skirt, button front shirt and heels or boots. I never laid out outfits in advance which would have reduced stress! 😂
I wear my hair short, just wash them clip them on my head in the right Position and after getting my make Up done put the clip out and I'm ready to Go.....never going back to long hair😂. Great Video, your style is really amazing ❤
Just discovered your channel and love your videos! Curious about the elastic band for sweaters; does it show if you raise your hands above your head? I hate tucking!

It’s funny, but I cannot wear blazers. I have 2, and I wear them for job interviews only. It’s very masculine to me, and with a large bust - it never fits. I’m probably the only one who never wears one!
Hi Rachael 🌺 I understand you 100%! I used to feel this way too and although I believe that blazers are not for everyone, I think we all can find a style that’s more flattering on our body. Boxy and oversized blazers never worked for me, same for overly structured fabrics or too long ones. Because you have curves, it will probably look more feminine and flattering a flowy fabric or more fitted/tailored garment. A nicely tailored jacket would do a similar job if you really don’t want to wear a blazer though. :)
First i check the weather 😂 that determines a lot for me. You have to know your colors (analysis) and style. İn my wardrobe everything goes with everything, i could blindly grab something and it would work. And the fit. İll fitting clothing never looks good.
Totally agree, it all starts with knowing what works for you! I love having a capsule wardrobe so everything goes together 😊 the weather is for sure in first place! Haha
From the clips you showed, you look younger, fresher and more beautiful without foundation/skin make-up, or maybe you just put on too much today because you really notice it, you have beautiful skin so you don't need it!

I love the shade of the navy blue sweater! It's a lovely rich colour and not too dark! So pretty. And yes to the jewelry video!
Thank you! I love a good navy blue 😌 will definitely start working on this jewelry video! 🫶🏼♥️

Agree with every single thing you said. I also love clothes that don't need ironing 😅 always in a rush in the morning.

Where did you get that gorgeous blue blazer and the matching top?
Hi my dera, the blazer is very old (Tommy Hilfigher, corduroy). The top is in cashmere, from Quince, very comfy shop.quince.com/mila-in-new-york715
Mila today you are looking beautiful pretty and sending you lots of love and blessings 💗💗💗 and I will always be your biggest biggest supportive

Problem with pointed shoes is that they cause bunions and are really uncomfortable
Yes they can be very uncomfortable but there are some really good pairs out there! 🤗

Oh thank you! I’m not wearing foundation in any of these clips though, so not sure where you see “too much”..maybe it’s the lighting!
