In hindsight, I’d probably go with Mitch Garver over Suarez, who of course had a great game last night.
Jose Abreu. I know he was signed last season, but he's so bad, he deserves to be on the list 2 years in a row.
bros in high a affiliate ball now too lol
Bro was below the mendoza line in every stat 💀💀💀
This guy is an absolute genius
😂😂😂
with the amount of elbow injuries, pitcher contracts should now include an elbow injury clause
The 2 Scott Boras pitcher are weak to give them a lot money is waste of time and money
Re: Blake Snell
As a Padres fan I didn't want to see him go. If he had negotiated a long term contract with the Padres just two years ago when the team was spending, Blake would be set.
If SF fans boo Blake.....they have every right to. I'm sure Blake didn't sit around during ST but it's quite obvious that Blake is in ST mode now while the rest of the league is in season mode. That's on Blake. He should have lowered his demands and signed before ST.
I still think he will finish strong.
Mitch garver didn't make the list 🥳
I don’t think he’s played much not 100% sure though
@@canaanlocke4375 He's played in 17/22 games, enough to get disappointed over.
and Geno did!
I'm a giants fan. It's Blake Snell. Hes the worst one.
Blame that on Scott Boras not Snell
Snell is literally a bonus piece for us. Imagine having the reigning Cy Young as a “yeah what the hell let’s get him”
@@bradleyc328 you say that like we got him on a minimum contract. 2 years / 62million isn't a bonus piece. That's someone we need production out of every 5 days.
@bradleyc328 and obviously I'm being hyperbolic by saying hes the worst one because I'm a giants fan. Theres alot of baseball to be played. But alot of the excuses some of our fans are making for him are too much.
Loved it, short and sweet. Perhaps doing another at the All-Star break? Do you think our Redsox may sign Monty next off season?
Thank you! For sure will update! My gut says they probably won’t.
Don’t really need him
As a Padres fan I’m glad Hader is gone. Dude wasn’t willing to pitch in back to back games and if you asked him to pitch a 4 or 5 out save opportunity he would get upset. Don’t let the door hit your ass on the way out 😂
Daily content! You rock Robbie!
🫵❤️
i know this isn't a 2024 signing, but i would like to hear your thoughts on the Astros drowning in Jose Abreu at-bats. Is there any good available 1B we can trade for?
I know its early in the season, but i do indeed like this video of yours here. :-) Thanks for making it.
When will the angels make a signing that doesnt either physically explode or go up to swing while thier bat is in the trashcan
Hard luck team
You know...in Houston's defense, Hader wasn't the only guy who struggled for the Astros in the Bullpen. But he is part of the problem because he has an extremely high ERA and not enough save opportunities. If you look at some of the games Houston lost where they lost their lead, some of the pitchers had blown saves, and others took the L (plus a blown save). Going through the list, here were some of the results early from their bullpen that perhaps could draw concern:
Game 1 Yankees - (Blown save) Rafael Montero, (Loss) Ryan Pressly
Game 2 Yankees - (Blown save & loss) Tayler Scott
Game 3 Yankees - (Blown save & loss) Bryan Abreu
Game 4 Yankees - (Loss) Josh Hader
Game 2 Blue Jays - (Blown save & loss) Josh Hader
Game 1 Royals - (Loss) Wander Suero
Game 3 Braves - (Blown save) Ryan Pressly, (Loss) Seth Martinez
Game 2 Nationals - (Blown save) Ryan Pressly, (Loss) Seth Martinez
Half of their 16 losses were the result of their bullpen failing them. 6 blown saves and 3 of their relievers taking the L in the process as well does draw a bit of worry. But Josh Hader's giving Astros fans a bit of grief, especially when you consider how good of a reliever he was a season ago. Something just doesn't look right with Josh, considering the 8.38 ERA he has, which is not a good look for the fans considering that he was supposed to be "the guy" that helps fix their bullpen woes.
Would love to see a rookie of the year video!
Martin Maldonado. Hitting about .050 & not throwing out runners.
These are my favorite videos. No question a must click channel.
Gotta keep leaning into the negative videos 😂
Can you do MLBs most disappointing players so far and the opposite for the players playing amazing
Will be doing that soon!
@@rhyde awesome! Love the content, Go Sox baby. Let’s play all of our games on the road this year pls
I remember the last time the Giants gave a bunch of money to an award winning lefty free agent. He was bad but it lead to a few titles.
👀
Adrain houser on the Mets and wandy Peralta on the Padres
Yeah I’m a Giants fan and it’s hard to be optimistic about Snell right now. And I agree that they signed him way too late in the offseason.
never give up hope. look at carlos rodon on the yankees hes been great this year so far after that horrible last year
It’s early but as a Tigers fan I’m pretty surprised that Flaherty has worked out so far (4.44 ERA) and Maeda has bombed.
I would be a horrible GM or other executives on a MLB team. I would be too quick to dismiss alot of these players as scrubs and never give them a dime. Unless you are a proven useful player that is still young to somewhat young, a fairly healthy track record, and stats that are consistent or on an upward trend, i don't want you or have any desire for you 😂
Tigers Fan here just to talk about Maeda. Yeah we're really not worried about him. If you go look at his past numbers he is terrible every April but picks it up for the rest of the year. In his most recent start since after this video came out he got 5 IP with 0 runs. He'll be fine, He'll be worth the money
A lot of guys left the padres looking for more money and stunk it up
One teams biggest offensive addition is batting .120 this year, not mentioned…
Adam Frazier is working out as expected.
All my fellow Mariners fans here asking where Mitch Garver is when Luke Raley has been just as bad statistically and cost us TB's current everyday SS
for how yamamoto has been, and for how much hes getting, im surprised i didnt see him
Advanced numbers are in his favor. He’ll be fine.
What you mean “how he’s been”? Outside of the Korea series all his starts have been good to quality outings. Racking up K’s like crazy
This was an offseason trade. AA emptying the non tendered players from the 40 man for Aaron Bummer. He’s been awful.
Hows that Madea signing 😂 he always struggles in April
Red Sox fan here....could this be WHY they didn't really do the promised Full Throttle approach ? All these star free agents aren't so good.....
But everyone said Snell was a cy young #1 starter? Everyone said the owners were cheap and colluding.
idk what it is with snell but everytime he has a good season he puts up a terrible one like this one so far
Snell is like a box of chocolates.
@@brandonh2775the issue with Snell is he let a lot of batters reach base... that dosen't mattered if you strike a lot of ppl; if your SO skills arent on the top, you would get smacked 24/7. The big example of this is Nolan Ryan. He had season of almost walking the same amount of ppl as ppl hitting him, but his ability to SO was so advanced that it almost doubled the amount the times he walked.
In other words, if you dont put Nolan Ryan's esque numbers, pitchers like Snell will have a lot of bad seasons as a starter
People seem to forget that Blake Snell also had a terrible start to last years season. It's still early, folks.
@@dallio900 Strikeout ability does not have an inverse to walks allowed. It happens that most pitchers who get lots of strikeouts do so because they are specifically looking for them, and their arsenal does only succeeds this way. The best pitchers strike hitters out and rarely miss their spots. Verlander, Cole, Degrom et al are these pitchers.
The Giolito situation is best case scenario for the red sox imo
Kk has looked abysmal at the plate for my jays
Hader will be fine. It’s rough for him early but as a Astro fan I’m glad we signed him because pressly can’t be trusted anymore.
if you would have told me that Snell would start the year as arguably the worst lefty in the league, I would have never believed you.
Carlos Santana's getting hot the last 10 games for the Twins.
Be tough to name two worse offseason additions than the two the Cardinals added, Matt Carpenter and Brandon Crawford.
Pitching Wednesday against the New York Mets ...
Basically anyone the Red Sox signed.
Jeimer Candelario has been real bad on offense and defense for the reds.
Carlos Santana.
No Mitch Garver???
Mitch Garner has also been atrocious this season .
Let me just say that no one could predict gio injury really so not a bad signing on paper
Just looking at it from a results point of view
Where’s Josh Hader?
Whit Merrifield has been bad really bad so far
Craig Kimbrel's been one of the best additions. Lights out.
I’m going to do a best additions video soon. He definitely could make it.
@@rhyde holding out hope Bautista comes back for the postseason. I know Kimbrel has struggled recently in the playoffs.
@@rhyde I TAKE IT ALL BACK! Kimbrel sucks! lol. He gave the A's 2 free wins in this most recent series. I see what everybody was talking about now.
I wish Gary was having a better year, guy was awesome last year.
As for Snell, I had a feeling he wasn’t gonna do well this year. The numbers even last year were more decent than anything
Josh Harder has been garbage for Houston Astros and Jose abreu needs to be DAFED he is batting 065 WTF
Mitch Garver gotta be on this list
Pinned comment
Its way too early to be talking about this 😅
Hector Neris with the Cubs has been awful
You know Blake Snail is doing bad, when you have him talking to kids. I went to Sundays game and Snell was yapping with kids. Like if he's some big brother and knows them personally. He was asking kids the questions. Honestly it looked Hella fake, might as well call the press and give out ice cream to each and every kid there. My take away from this was; I treat the kids with great respect and act like I care about them and in exchange the baseball gods see my good deeds and reward me on the mound. Silly baseball superstitions
Lol trying to buy patience and grace among a restless fanbase
Besides Ohtani, Yamamoto, Imanaga, everyone else was so overrated 😂
ANGELS ANTHONY RENDON FOR THE WHOLE CONTRACT
This guy is absolutely ekmek
Gino is G, he will find his place in az
Mets are down 4-0 :/
DANGIT 😩
Advertising gambling is some really scummy stuff. "Support the channel by starting gambling"
Not cool
Last time I checked, it’s legal in most states. People are free to do what they want, and if they do it responsibly, I don’t see the problem. Get off your high horse and go to bed you negative Nancy.
blake smell lol
Imo The Giants rushed Snell. He should not have been pitching when he did
Seriously dude. Less than a month into the season, and you are trashing these guys. Lots of players get off to slow starts. Why are you freaking out? Every team has about 140 games left in the season.
Sounds like you need a sandwich and a nap grumpy gills
@rhyde Huh? I'm the grumpy one? How so? Seriously, getting all hot bothered about baseball players in the middle of April is a bit of an overkill. You must be new to baseball. A lot can happen in 140 games.
Stop being mean to Snell, he has pitched 3 GAMES. And he starts slow every single year, and this time missed spring training.
Results are results.
I somewhat agree, as a Padres fan he’s always been a slow starter. He should figure it out come June but don’t hold your breath. 21-22 was mid at best for my squad throughout the year. But when he is dialed in, he’s top 3 in the game. Cheers. 😎
So you’re going by pattern? He always starts off slow? What a great excuse. How about the pattern of him having a horrible year after winning CY?
@@JumboJuneau cuz he has only 1 CY Young before this, there is no pattern
Hypocrite. This the same dude who was clowning Yamamoto proclaiming him a bust after one start. Now all of a sudden he wants people to practice patience now that the tables flipped to players on his favorite team 😂😂. Can’t make this ish up man
Hate to say it, my Phillies signing Whit.
Blake Snell always looks like he hasn’t slept in a month.
Not signing with the Yankees keeps him up at night
@@rhyde As a Yankee fan, I’m ok with his decision.
