Thanks for the comparison! Hope it helped others as well. Made me decide to get your bowl 3D printed.

I had a shave with my R-41 today. Did 3 passes with pick-ups and got a BBS with ZERO irritation!!! I normally always Get stung when applying the AfterShave after a Muhle R-41 Shave and even then very little if any burn! After close to two years WetShaving you already know my technique is on point baby

Agree, Bob. It's a real shame because I like the material they used, and if it were just a bit wider, it would likely be very good.

@@gummybear41283 for me, the walls of the Captain's choice bowls are just a little too low to keep my lather in. But a whole ton of people out there on the internet really like them, so I'll bet you'll be fine!

@@sgrdddyshaves ya but I don't like high walls and it's a nice size to travel with. And I use very little water so it doesn't suds up, its better to use less water, you get more cream and protection instead of bubbles

@@gummybear41283 I feel better protected with a slicker wetter lather. but that's the great thing about this hobby! You get to do your thing exactly how you want to, and you don't have to agree with anybody else! :-)
