- The Olympic National Park coastline has some of the wildest and most beautiful beaches in the world. With amazing views, sea-stacks, piles of driftwood, tide-pools and miles of coast line to explore they are popular for beach combing, backpacking, and hiking along the Pacific Ocean, and less for sunbathing.
Locations in the video: Shi Shi beach (0:05), Rialto Beach (1:27), First Beach - La Push (2:09), Second Beach (2:36), Third Beach (3:19), Ruby beach (3:45).

Thank you for showing our treasure called Olympic National Park. First time on Rialto, I was 10 walking with my mom, She passed last June a few days before her 93 birthday. Left the peninsula in 75. Raised my kids camping at Mora several times each summer. Now they are taking their kids camping there. You did it justice, sir.

I just love the Olympic national park and it's beaches. Couple hours drive from Tacoma but worth every minute spent in traffic 👍... So peaceful and beautiful. Tfs

@@speedbird1598 honestly as someone who’s travelled up the coast, the Southern California beaches have an entire different vibe and I can honestly say I’ve lived after seeing both the beaches in the north and south, they’re beautiful in their own way!

it is just the cape at the NW point of the peninsula, the nearby beach is Shi shi (to the south)

+skylilly1 Luckily after 2-3 days of bad weather, that affected the hiking at higher locations, the sun came back for couple of glorious sunsets :)
I visit all these beaches several times each year trying to capture the beauty of each. Loved the music with this video, so many are ruined by the irritating noise in the background but this was a perfect fit. Good job !

I just went there last week but Lapush1&2 closed, so I took Lapush3. I love Rialto, kalaloch and Ruby. Fist day, cloudy I cant take picture and video, lucky my second day the weather was nice. I think Ruby beach is my favourfavorite. I will back someday for Lapush 1 and Second

Beautiful photography! My only complaint is that everything between Point of Arches and La Push has been left out. That's around 45 miles of wilderness coastline..

These beaches are so much better than the beaches I am used to in San Diego - crowded and noisy!! forget about going on a Saturday...between finding parking and a place to relax it is a mess/not worth it.

Hello again Milosh... The west coast videos from Sept. '15 are beautifully captured with the appropriate music drawing me in nicely. I have wondered how you maintain such a consistent horizon on the vast majority of your shots & moving panoramas. Do you employ a tripod at times for this or is it mostly freehand?

About the horizon, it is a matter of practice, and it is mostly freehand. Whenever the horizon is identifiable it is easy, as I am aware of it. Still some shots might need rotation by up to 1 degree or sometimes a bit more to level the horizon...

Sorry you forgot two in the middle. Sand Point (nothing but a sandy beach) and Cape Alva(nothing again but tidal pools). In the 70s I hiked from Kalaloch to Shi Shi Beach 2 weeks of per enjoyment. Just take a tide book.

I've seen no evidence OR has better beaches than the NW corner of WA like a lot of people say. I think they just haven't been up there, Shi Shi is spectacular

Absolutely mesmerizing and lovely music to go with it. I am headed to Olympic National around middle of July. Are these beaches accessible driving through the national park? Thank you.
yes, the beaches are accessible and close to the road, not sure how easy it will be to find accommodations or campsites in July.
Shi Shi beach is an exception, there is 8 miles roundtrip hike to get there and back
Thanks for the pointers. Due to late planning I am going to have to stay outside the park, possibly in Port Angeles.
by exception I meant not easily reachable from the road, but this makes it more pristine too

Hate to bother you with so many questions. Will much appreciate if you would be aware of using a drone for video footage at Olympic National Park. As far as I am aware, flying a drone is not allowed at any of the national parks. Would appreciate if you could share any information you might have about it.
Olympic is spread around, looks like some places would be suitable for drones, but the rules of the NPS - the National Park Service is simple - no drones in any National Park
The US Navy and Marine Corps from Whidbey Island train out there, drones would be a problem.
How come none of these videos never show point grendville, I say it’s one the most beautiful beaches in Washington, but non tribal members aren’t allowed

just my opinion. the music was a mistake. just stick with the audio of the place itself. Its like putting a bow on a baby. shouldnt be done.
unfortunately the audio is not usable 95% of the time or more, having nice professional audio would double the effort to create the video which already is substantial
