Best bet is your local hydraulics shop, take the oil cooler and hoses with you and get adapters/ replacement hose crimped up to suit 👍

Mini has various wiper sweeps over the years I believe 110, 120, 130 degrees. You may be able to adjust your current 180 degree motor sweep down by adding an additional larger diameter gear or pully mechanism combined with a bit of your fabulous fabrication 👍🏻...

Engine option: Honda/Accura 4 cylinder CVCT engine with a turbo chager. They fit nicely in a Cooper Mini. Lots of power. Very reliable.
Work with what you have until...."KABOOM!" Then use something betters.

Keep it up man!! its awesome work, top class as usual. you have done some cool mods which i think all mini owners would benefit from, the droop stoppers are a cool idea, and love the shock tower mounts, they look like it pull the shock in tighter to the inner wing is that right?
Yes that’s the idea, it improves the arc of the shock travel. Cheers 🍻
Hi Matt, your Spax dampers are upside down, Traxaspax are twin tube dampers. They will pump out the oil when mounted upside down as you are relying on the seal to keep it in and it's only realy there to keep the dirt out. Also, more importantly the base valving will be exposed to the air pocket and aerated oil. Only mono tube damper should be mounted upside down.
Cool Mini build though and once you start racing you will never go back to track days....
MATT!! Local Hydraulic fittings place ie forklifts tractors etc will sort your hoses out for cheap!!
hi go talk to your local pirtek outlet to see if they can make the hoses you need , they may even send a van out to you to make them onsite , you never know they might consider a bit of sponsorship for some stickers on the car ????
Matt i noticed you have not got the clutch connected when you do make sure to set the big nut's that is actualy a stop is set up right if not you can wear out the crank thrust washers.
Can't you use Pirtek for your hoses??

Matt, love your work and the vids. Just so you know, there is an annoying audio knocking noise on this one, think something perhaps the mic was loose.
Looking lovely. If I understand it correctly, your adjuster to stop the suspension cone coming loose is basically a rebound limiter? Isn't the suspension arm going to smash the hell out of that in normal use when the suspension gets unloaded? A rebound limiter is usually involves a rubber part (i.e. like a small bump stop, or a rubber strap) to cushion things.

thats interesting to keep the cone in place,whats that bolt adjusting against? i cant see it from the video too well
Which wiper mech is that? I bought a cinq rear wiper as apparently thats what the migs use? it looks the same as yours, mines unfitted as yet, not got brave and attempted the bracketry.. If it is the correct one then maybe theres some mod they do to get the sweep right.?

Ditch Minispares and look for better...It will not take you long.
