Was trying to run a 5k on the treadmill this evening, got to 2.25miles and had to stop, scrolled over to ur site and did this to finish up....I liked it!

My treadmill is broken at max incline so I was scared to do these for a while, but I built myself up first walking then jogging at max incline and now I’m able to do this. Despite having asthma too lol wish you all great gains!
I remember I ran a 5k on a indoor triathlon. I did kind of the same with this training session but with the rest periods I continue to run at my average race pace. I do remember I finished the 5k in 13 minutes but I can’t remember the seconds. I was running top speed on the Machine for 1 minute and 1 minute average run pace and repeat. I remember I had 6 gym staff all clapping say that was a fantastic run.

First time doing this workout did it on incline 5 speed 14 . Was amazing definitely recommend to anyone trying to lose weight. If currently 70 kg and 16 and hoping to get that down due to this workout thanks

Can someone tell me the calorie burn? I just got a fit watch but of course there’s no option for HIIT so I put it on Run mode to track heart rate and calories burned = 40. Is that right!!??

Was able to determine what should be my speed on treadmill. 220-(your age) = maximum heart rate. Then he said that at least 85% of it. 220 - 27 = 193 max heart rate 193 x 0.85 = 164 at least is my heart rate. I started with 6 then 7, then 8 where I discovered that that should be my speed to attain at least 85% of my max heart rate.
I am just starting into HIIT workouts. I have done both your 15 & 20 minute HIIT treadmill workouts, both are great. The on thing I can’t seem todo is to increase my speed. I Spyro fractured my right leg a few years ago and really cannot run. How can I go about getting any more intense workout without increasing the speed 6 miles an hour? Or could you do a video using walking speed and incline. Thanks

I don't know if this will create any injuries but i increase the incline every next round and i maximised the speed on 12 on my last round with incline 10, and it feels like i can concur the world afterwords😅 greate work out!!

2nd time on the curve treadmill. Only could do 6 rounds the last round I could not get over 11 mph, but the first 3 was over 12 mph HR 180s. Im 41 so that is over 100% (not good) I’m still working towards completing 20 min workout. But I feel like I am just starting out 18 months ago.
I do 1min run at 10.0 speed and 2min walk 4.5 speed about 10ish times so around 30-35mins overall including cool down timer. Should i keep this up ? I feel like death doing the 1min runs but i feel so much better after, rather than just running for 10mins straight that sucks after haha
Hey Jay! Sprinting 1 minute during my HIIT segments is too long for me personally. I start to really fatigue in the 15-30 sec range going at my 100%. I don’t want to jeopardize my intensity level during each round. However, I don’t think it’s a bad idea to mix things up though. Keep me posted on your progress! 💪👍

I’ve done like 5 variations of HIIT and this is by far the most brutal. Definitely recommend if you wanna push yourself.

I would stick with a 2-3 week regimen with 24 hours of rest between HIIT days. Good luck! 👍

10mph (speed max) with 8% incline for four rounds. I thought I was gonna throw up but I love these workouts. I needed more challenge though.

Incline 1.2 to 2.0 speed 9.5 to 10 ... and in between incline same and speed 3.5 ... awesome calorie burned 162. Great job 👏

Good work. Yes, your heart rate should be very high during your HIIT segments and it should be hard to breathe.
