Mark On was best. Clip was second. Dry and R tied for third.
My opinion as a stationery addict
1st place - zebra sarasa mark on
2nd place - zebra sarasa clip
3rd place - zebra sarasa dry
3rd place - zebra sarasa R
Highly recommend the zebra mildliner for highlighting 🎉
I'm not sure if the paper they used is kokuyo campus refill paper.
Btw luv ur videos jetpens
Fun fact: jetpens started in 2004
If I'm correct 🤭
I also love the sarasa vintage line up
Edit: just correcting spelling mistakes.
The Mark On is my favorite to write with!!! Second only to my Muji pens! (That i WISH you carried.)
Thanks to Jet Pens & Reddit I have put down the Pilot G2 due to too many failures and lack of water resistance and I am fully on the Sarasa Clip and Sarasa Mark On bandwagon.
OG Clip did surprisingly well! Personally I prefer Dry for general use because I'm a lefty, and Mark-on for those special occasions.
i can't find the difference between mark-on and dry! i'm also left-handed and looking for good instant-dry pens, what's your experience in the difference between the two?
@@progress.not.perfection1547 I like the ink flow on the dry better, but mark-on works wonders when highlighters are involved! So I use dry for my everyday writing, but mark-on for drawings and other designs involving coloring 😊
@@codymascho7938 thanks so much!! they're quite similar yet i rarely see people comparing the differences directly
I love the R for its vibrancy.
Me, too.
Does it write smoother than the mark on?
I have many Sarasa Clips and I love the ink and color. I wish they were water proof so I can do urban sketching with them!
Can u do a test writing over correction tape? I find it way easier to smear wet and when highlighting and I’m the type who writes before they think TvT
All of the pens performed beautifully AND also most of them dried immediately, something very important to me. Would love to buy these❤!
I have all these pens - love them. However I find that even the Mark On and Dry both smear with the Mildliner if used right away .. or even 10 seconds later. I found that the sweet spot is 30 seconds. That has been my experience with TR paper. So I wonder if I would have better luck on different paper?
Either way - they are still carried with me everywhere and the Mark On and Original Clip are my favorites ❤ specially in the vintage colors 😍.
I love the Mark on it’s my favorite pen ever
Where did you buy it?? I cant find it on its own on amazon
@@gyarufangirl2680 JetPens!
Great content and great website! Thank you so much!
Personally, zebra sarasa R is the best because at my school we use plastic text books and it never smudges
The Sarasa Clip original is OK I don't like it as much as everyone else seems to but I am always BLOWN AWAY by how smooth and vibrant the Mark On is like a real gel pen but can be highlighted just as easily as a ballpoint
Zebra Sarasa Mark On 0.4, 0.5 🤩🥰😍
I'll take the Mark On please.
MarkOn for the win! 🙌
What’s the difference between Sarasa R and the clip?
I think the Sarasa R uses dye based ink and clip uses pigment based ink. Basically, the Sarasa R is more vibrant but not archival quality
@@sameer1321 that makes more sense. It did seem darker in video and figured that’s what it was but wanted confirmation. Thank you!!
Yes @Sameer13 is correct!
Sarasa Mark-on then the clip
Which do you feel dries the fastest? I’ve use mark on and clip but they dry really fast and don’t last as long as I would like them to whether I use them heavily or not
Also i have to wait to use the mild liners for a little, I usually finish a page and move on to next one then go back and highlight
Personally, I feel the Dry is the fastest, I’ve also seen it smear less with Kokuyo’s mark+ compared to the Mark On but I’ll test again
Can anyone rank Zebra gel pens and ballpoint pens based on their rection when the text is highlighted using Zebra mildliners? Sorry, but I need it
What about zebra speedy. I think that’s what it’s called.
Isnt sarasa R and a normal sarasa the same?
(Talking about ink)
They use different ink!
@@JetPens omg my life is a lie
I'm a clip person, but its because I can get the milk and vintage inks. Also, they are cheap.
The Dry isn't water-resistant to me though
Which one would be best for writing over washi tape? 🤔
Think the 2nd to last one is my fave
We don't recommend using these on washi tape!
