watching you guys makes me wanna go out and explore, i walk the same 4 routes with my dog, been a while since i went deeper in the woods, maybe it’s time to find a new route 🤔
I've never seen waterproof socks but you should look into the steel mesh socks for when your boots get soaked. Apparently you and walk on nails and glass and not really feel it nor get hurt.
Since you guys are planning a trip through the sierras, please be safe and check the river levels before you go. We had a record breaking year for snow and rain and a lot of the Rivers and streams MAY be impassable. My Boy Scout troop ran into this problem in the 90s when we had an El Nino year. We had to cancel a couple of our backpacking trips because of it.
The first bit looks like you're walking in a stream bed, have you ever had to worry about flash floods at all or had any near misses? Love your videos! :)
Didn’t know about unbuckling the packs. I appreciate the advice! However I’m still freaked out about the flying ants so I may not be out on the trails for a while.
Oh my gosh, just looked it up. The Liquid IV products look amazing! I promise I wasn't paid to say that and am not a bot haha. Yum now I wanna try them. I feel so good drinking good coconut water and imagine those may feel even better (or mix with coconut water?).
Great question and also about wildlife and if any shady people. I like hearing how worst case scenarios were handled by people.💚 They have a video showing some weather challenges which I found helpful.
Do you dehydrate pasta too or do you take it as it comes in the package? I want to prepare for my first long hiking trip, so this would be very helpful 😊
How do you dry out shoes after wading through streams? Early season in upper elevations means its never warm enough to dry out. Walking in wet shoes even in dry socks seems cold.
I think you guys are so awesome doing all these adventures! Do you ever get worried about coming across bears or do you not really think about it? I know I would be 😬😂
Can't you get jungle rot if you walk through streams and rivers and your shoes get wet like that? Or are they waterproof socks like actually waterproof where no moisture gets in? This is so cool
Y’all would be terrifying parents Child: mom dad I don’t want to walk to school Them: looks at each other we walked from Mexico to Canada I’m sure you can walk 5 minuets to school!
I wanted to make fun of you too but the more videos I see the more I start caring about you both. I hope you're always safe out there and you don't find yourself in any trouble. Good walking.
I always wondered how do they always have water yn with small water bottles like that because I know you can just take water from a mountain well you can but it depends but after that I thought about that water filter thing that turns dirty water drinkable but who knows they might just have a whole bunch of water 😂
I’ve never actually seen anyone turn their mummy bag sideways! The hood drives me crazy I never know if it is supposed to stay down on the pad. I actually just cut mine off - my rudimentary sewing skills may not last more than a couple trips, but I could not deal with the hood anymore!
How have i gone my whole life without knowing water proof socks were a thing 😭
Me neither. 😂
Check out wudu socks
Honestly. And I live in a place that always rains💀
Lol was my first thought when he said it

WOW! You guys are so amazing ❤
The first bit looks like you're walking in a stream bed, have you ever had to worry about flash floods at all or had any near misses? Love your videos! :)
Would you ever consider getting a freeze dryer because you could have meals with more fat?
Didn’t know about unbuckling the packs. I appreciate the advice! However I’m still freaked out about the flying ants so I may not be out on the trails for a while.
I seen that liquid IV in that bottle 😉 one of the best hydration drinks out there. It’s so expensive I have it only for when I get sick.
Oh my gosh, just looked it up. The Liquid IV products look amazing! I promise I wasn't paid to say that and am not a bot haha. Yum now I wanna try them. I feel so good drinking good coconut water and imagine those may feel even better (or mix with coconut water?).
I would love to know what you both do for a living that you can take this time off to go on your trips. Love your channel btw ❤❤🎉
this is making want to go out hiking
I love those gaiters
Totally Epic You Guys!
Adorable❤
Love you two! Have either of you gotten sick on the trail and what do you do if that happens?
Great question and also about wildlife and if any shady people. I like hearing how worst case scenarios were handled by people.💚 They have a video showing some weather challenges which I found helpful.
I would love to see a video where you talk about what you take with you to protect yourself against wild animals both during the day and at night.
That first shot of Tim took me a second - I’m so unused to seeing him with such little facial hair! 😂
Make shored you stay warm and he comes out walking in snow in his shorts haha Love them ♡♡
Havent seen you guys in a while, I was just wondering... what you guys ever gotten sick during these trips?
Does the food you dehydrate taste a little different from what it usually does???
Original song.
DON'T GO UP TO THE MOUNTAIN TOP WITHOUT ME (C)2006
Almost like being there. TY
❤
Do you dehydrate pasta too or do you take it as it comes in the package? I want to prepare for my first long hiking trip, so this would be very helpful 😊
They dehydrate cooked pasta.
@@tresbonoeuf thank you so much! 💛
Didn't expect those shoes lol. Thought they would wear boots or something, guess these are friendlier on their feet?
Darn tough brand socks are fantastic. What sock are you putting over them in the middle of the short?
We had some pretty dangerous, baseball-sized hail in Colorado recently. It made me wonder what you do for dangerous weather conditions that pop up.
What water filter do you use? :)
How do you dry out shoes after wading through streams? Early season in upper elevations means its never warm enough to dry out. Walking in wet shoes even in dry socks seems cold.
you two are such a good match….❤❤
I was wondering if you guys use sunscreen regularly. 👍🏻👍🏻

Do u ever run into bears?
Can't you get jungle rot if you walk through streams and rivers and your shoes get wet like that? Or are they waterproof socks like actually waterproof where no moisture gets in? This is so cool

Really specific question but, what kind of sunscreen do u guys use? And how often do u apply it?
I am thinking about walking the pennies as I live u England not as much as an adventure but still one. My question is should I do it?
Question: how and where do you charge you're phones and find data to post all of this!
I feel like it would be totally fun hiking with you guys. My friends arent into it.
When your outside hiking for months on end what happens or what do you do when you guys get sick

Can you take snow and filter it so you can drink it?
I wanted to make fun of you too but the more videos I see the more I start caring about you both. I hope you're always safe out there and you don't find yourself in any trouble. Good walking.
What type of watches do you guys use to track your hikes?
I always wondered how do they always have water yn with small water bottles like that because I know you can just take water from a mountain well you can but it depends but after that I thought about that water filter thing that turns dirty water drinkable but who knows they might just have a whole bunch of water 😂
Do you ever encounter bears, wolves or mountain lions? What protection do you carry?

How do you shower in the wilderness? I feel like it wouldn’t be fun.

I’ve never actually seen anyone turn their mummy bag sideways! The hood drives me crazy I never know if it is supposed to stay down on the pad. I actually just cut mine off - my rudimentary sewing skills may not last more than a couple trips, but I could not deal with the hood anymore!
