I drove its platform mate today doing a dealer trade, the Kia Sorento. It drives quite well. And it was only the S trim which is on the lower end of the trim spectrum. Hyundai and Kia have come a long way in recent years.
couple things.. the hybrid gets more sidewall and smaller wheels, so it imo rides better.. It's also extremely comfortable, but the limited seats are more comfortable than the calligraphy, as the seat bottoms are 2in longer, due to the motor for the extender and massager function. All that said, it's an extremely nice vehicle to drive, comfortable, quiet, and in hybrid, efficient. I made it from NYC to Ohio on one tank of gas, without it broken in yet.
I just realized the off road was recorded with a different car (black interior). 😂 Just drove a limited trim today. Very nice drive/ride. The 2.5T is surprisingly peppy in sport mode using the paddles. The DCT shifted quick and smooth. But, as most are... I'm still worried about the longevity of the DCT. Convince me otherwise. Also shopping the CX 90, Telluride, Sorento and CX 50.
The high trim hybrids get more side wall and smaller wheels, which helps the ride, the hybrid also gets double pain glass and more insulation, it's extremely quiet till around 90.. I own a hybrid limited awd and will say it's far quieter than the lexus it replaced.
I love the front but the worst is the back looking it’s so ugly and so boxy I don’t get it why Hyundai did those brake lights and reverse lights but nice POV drive tho
I need at least a V-6. Dont' like the sound of this 4, especially at $50k. And the interior is just not growing on me at all. It was nice at first ONLY because it was such a departure, but it's really not a great design. Interior is such a mishmash of other brand's designs though, admittedly, it does look good.
Looked at the thumbnail real quick & instantly thought Range Rover because of that steering wheel! haha
it actually looks like a land rover too
FR LOL!
True
So? You cant even afford either the Santa Fe or RR. Keep dreaming, boy.
@@tinkerplayer8616 He did nothing to you
Definitely quiet inside!
Beautiful santa 🎅 ❤
Love everything about it!
Well that's certainly a bold design...
another POV I was waiting for
Love how they added a feature to change the interior from biege-white to black😂
I love this santa 🎅 😍 ❤.....
Design is like Range Rover Defender

$50k+ for a 2.5 turbo SUV is the real question!
Is that fake engine noise piped through the speakers?
No it’s real exhaust
Nice suv but..why so.loud?thats a lot of noise..
Can you review Kia Carnival 2025 hybrid thank q so much 🙏🏻
I think it's weird.

Copy from Range Rover
They probably ran out of ideas for the steering wheel
You mean Land Rover defender ?
Hyundai is copying Land rover defender
*Hyundai.
Land Rover Range Rover
@@Mrfacts_geNo the design is Defender not Range Rover
Boxy design= Land rover? Who made that nonsense formula?
