RARE HUMMINGBIRD We Found in the Amazon

The rare Dot-eared Coquette is an insane-looking hummingbird found in Brazil. Even with a widespread territory, the bird is very hard to find and you will never find it at hummingbird feeders. But they have been showing up at Refúgio dos Naturalistas near Belém since 2016. This is the most reliable place to see this very special hummingbird.
