I think it's more about quality foods than anything. Carbs are his fuel, so obviously needed. It's the quality of carbs that Brian has changed up drastically. Used to be really simple refined carbs like pasta in the majority of his meals. Now it's white rice, which is still refined, but simpler and quicker to digest. Stan emphasized gut health above all else. He also checks which nutrients the body is needing with blood testing. The added dextrose was an interesting hack which you can see Brian apply to his food in the video. Lot's of really good info from Stan in his seminar vids.
Learned so much from stans seminar. Even switching from brown to white rice and cleaning up my protein sources has helped tons. Can definitely notice a big difference in Brian and Thor too.

Curious as to why Brian doesn't go for fruit to help his carb load. Fruits such as mangos, bananas, oranges, and dates have a good amount of carbs along with more fiber, have lower glycemic loads than the white rice, and it would help break the monotony of the rice, and he could back off on the dextrose powder.
Cor Sair Perhaps it helps his performance. Maybe he’s tried fruit and it doesn’t help as much.
He'd have to eat a couple kilos of bananas a day to get the same amount of carbs he gets from the rice. Also, The glycemic loads are certainly high but then again so is his physical output. I'd be willing to bet he has a great nutritionist.

What's the dextrose for?
It's so the rice is easier to get down, dextrose increases saliva production. Stan Efferding is a huge advocate of eating just rice and adding some dextrose to it.
