Great videos, I’m about to install my amp in the same location as you in my 2019 terrain. I’m having a hard time locating an easy place to ground my amp though. Where did you hook into for your ground or did you run a tapping screw right into the bottom?

There’s a boat next to the tire you have to tighten the crap out of it and it’s what holds the plastic trim down next to the tire I wish I would’ve showed that in the video my amplifiers in the second compartment in the trunk

so I’m going to install this on a 2011 if installing only a subwoofer wouldn’t it be better to grab the signal from the factory subwoofer into the line converter since all you need is the bass frequency
True you can do that but I went with half the market so because I wanted to hit as hard and as many watts from my amplifier, which has 2000 W factory so first not gonna be able to push that much or handle that much watt
@@Sportbikememace what speakers did you grab the signal from the door speakers if you do you by any chance remember the positive and negative wire colors
@@badtacodrift6 I bought my speakers from scar audio. You have to buy an adapter for the speakers on all four doors and you need an adapter for the speaker wires to connect to the factory wire so you don’t have to splice any wires just do plug and play it’s gonna cost you money but it’s better than cutting factory wires.
Underneath the steering wheel, there is a grommet it has a hole that leads through the firewall underneath the hood. I connected it directly to the battery.
@@MotorCity54321 I put 6.5 but you have to buy an adapter I bought everything through Crutchfield They’re all also speaker adapters that don’t have to cut the wires use factory connectors. I even changed out the tweeters with factory connectors, but I had to modify the whole to make it bigger to fit the magnet for the tweeters
@@MotorCity54321 the adapter for the door speakers you have to do a lot of modifications to make everything work I used a box cutter and I heated up and I was able to cut through the plastic to make it fit the speaker the hose are not gonna line up to the speakers that you get so you have to make an indent and use a power tool to screw down the speaker to the adapter
You lift up the floorboard where the tire is at there is a plastic piece surrounding the tire route the wire underneath the plastic unscrew the plastic run the wire through the screw put the plastic back in the washer and it should make a contact.

It would be better if you get the adapter where you don’t have to cut the factory wire because the adapter only goes one way into the speaker wires I kept every wire factory didn’t have to cut no wires everything plug-in play

@@Sportbikememace okay so if you got mic’s then there’s active noise cancellation in them, there called anc, you don’t get a popping noise or feed back while playing music?

I did my tweeters, and all the door speakers I did a video for the tweeters. I never had a chance to do a video video for the door. if you do the door, just be careful and not breaking the clips behind the door panel

Bet, and last thing, you put your amplifier with the spare tire under the subs how do your keep it from getting hot

How do you know negative & positive wire? Door speakers 🔊 only say 1&2 not +&-😢

I did my tweeters, and all the door speakers I did a video for the tweeters. I never had a chance to do a video video for the door. if you do the door, just be careful and not breaking the clips behind the door panel
