Nice Install Hunter Glad to see you doing well.
Hey, thanks Tim. Glad to see your business is doing well!!!
I installed one of these bass packages in my 2017 Acadia. Pretty happy with the results. The only thing is you do not get full range bass extension pulling signal from the rear door speaker. That signal has a high pass filter starting around 45hz. I couldn't find the actual radio amp in my Acadia or I would of tried to tap for a true full range signal with no HPF.
Agree, this is some real hackery.
I believe the head unit is located near passenger kick panel .
I want to install a Rockford Fosgate P3SD4-12 in back. Hope they have a 12" boot can make one. Otherwise it's going in the unused under cover storage bin
Just got my 2023 this week and still learning my way around.
Good luck!
Tap into front door channel, will help produce more bass.
@@denniswagner3572 it's not an issue of bass quantity, it's more an issue of bass extension.
Have you wired up your amps yet i have a 2022 and I'm trying to figure out were to get the adio signal from and what to use to get that signal@ginakerry2588
@denniswagner3572 what do you mean front door signal
Just got a 2023 this looks like something I need 😂
You definitely need one!
Us too!
But we're going with a Rockford Fosgate P3SD4-12 12" sub. May not be able to use one of these boxes. 🙁
How did you tag into the speaker harness, the harness where you got your signal, did you do it with a knife?
I got my wire harness built by llj costumes. It was plug and play. A bit pricy but worth it.
Me too plug and play
I just ordered one to
Where did you order from. Do you have a website?
I like the boost bass box, got a question will this fit into my 2014 gmc acadia denali ...
This for the 2017 to current models. Thank you for the interest!
I have a 2017 acadia slt with power lift gate and where you've mounted the box I have a motor for the liftgate, so which would you do for install
Send us some photos so that maybe we can come up with a solution. Ask for Hunter so it gets to me.
Two questions will it fit a 2014 GMC Arcadia and where is the link lol
My 2023 acadia SLT has some sort of box with wires running to it in the location this sub is supposed to mount after pulling out the tray. Any ideas what this is and if it can be relocated?
We believe it is either the 360 degree view module or the ANC module but you should be able to unbolt it and stand it up straight to install the enclosure.
Do you need the line converter just to run the sub? Where are you getting the 12v switched line signal from?
With these BOOST box installs, all of our amplifier remote turn on is provided by the LOC's audio sense capabilities. A LOC is recommended for any audio installation that requires the installation of an aftermarket amplifier with a factory radio.
How are you not getting feedback? I ran this to a T on the install. Only difference is I am using an Alpine amp. Did the previous installer bypass the ANC?
We do not think this vehicle had ANC or was previously bypassed. You should be able to find on here a way to bypass the ANC.
Snip wires to all the 4 ANC mics in the headliner. It takes 15minutes tops and you won't have any feedback through the sub. There is NO negative side effects from doing this. Not sure why GM even installed ANC...it does very little.
If it has a Bose system is there a difference? Do I need to bypass anything?
It does make a difference, instead of pulling signal from a door speaker, you will want to pull signal from the factory subwoofer.
Will this work in a 2019 Chevy traverse? I think the traverse is the equivalent to the Acadia.
We cannot confirm this at this time. We will look into this. Thank you!
It does not appear that the Traverse has a cubie on the drivers side cargo area. This box will not work for the Traverse.
Where did you run your remote wire to
The remote wire power is provided by the LOC as it senses audio.
Do you have a 12 inch sub box like this ?
We do not offer this model with a 12" subwoofer unfortunately due to space restrictions.
The low quality video production lowered my confidence in your company as a whole.
Do you have any suggestions as to improve our production?
Thank you for your feedback. I too watched the video. It definitely appears that the b-roll shots should have been muted at various points and I am shocked that made it to production. I am surprised it got posted, but I think the overall video "quality" is good and the detailed views are. I definitely agree with you the production should have been better and it is not at the level we expect or are used to.
Where did u run ur ground wire from amp to where
We had drilled a hole and used a nut-sert and bolted to the chassis.
