$300 CAMERA VS $3500 CAMERA | Can you tell the difference? | Canon 1000D vs Sony a7iii

- Yo whats going on youtube family! Something a little different this week. Stef and I travelled out to the Penrose State Forrest (I was trying to scope some MTB Trails) Stef took her $300 camera that is 12 years old and I obviously took my Sony a7iii and took some photos! Can you tell the difference? Let me know in the comment section! Peace.
Well I cannot really tell the difference when your compositions and lighting are wildly different from one another in a sterile environment where there is really only 3 kinds of colours, muted green, dark brown and bright silver.
If you were to shoot in a more colourful situation the Canon 1000D would win just because its colours are the best ever fitted to a camera, it has the highest colour depth of field of any sensor, the sensor is an improved version of the Canon 400D sensor.

Awesome video, I just scored my second 1000D with the 18-55mm kit lens and a camera bag and all for $120aud and at $150Aud for the lowest priced bodys atm they are pretty cheap. It's cool seeing a comparison vid with the 1000D and one of the most popular cameras of today. I'm only just learning the basics of exposure and about different lenses now... (almost 2 years since buying my 1000D even though I did my own succesful wet clean during that time) and with what I've been seeing it's a more than appropriate budget DSLR. I think the 1300D is often fairly cheap too and that brings a decent boost atop the 1000D for the minor price hike.
Big time! Don’t get me wrong I love my Sony and all it’s greatness but a very cheap dslr can still get a great image! Once you understand how to use the camera to it’s full potential you can be very surprised.
@@ronnoco admittedly I hope I learn the art well and take photos that truly serve my camera justice. It's taken some great shots in my naivety so it shall be interesting once I'm confident in the exposure triangle.

Couldn’t tell the difference on my iPad.
I know this is an older video but I found a 1000D on ebay for $135CAD with shipping, getting into photography so i thought it was a decent price!!
really bad photos taken with sony, first You can`t take photos, second You crushed blacked in post deliberately.
