(I recently discovered the Warhammer universe thanks to the Total War Warhammer 3 games) I believed at first that the two universes were connected. But apparently not.
I fell into this rabbit hole and I have the impression that there is years of lore.

When I was little I had the right one day to buy the game of my choice in a gigantic gaming or video game store, I bought a box of Warhammers with orks on it.
When I got home and unpacked the box, it actually was a Model; everything was dismantled and has to be painted.
I begged my parents to change it but to no avail.
I think I once felt a tiny part of what the primarchs loyal to the emperor must have felt when they learned that Horus had betrayed them. This is why i never pay interest to Warhammer

For 40k my heart primarch and prefer because it reminds me of myself and no one understands it:
Konrad Curze ( yes he is miserable and pitiful, but damn yes he needs a hug ) , and the 8th Space Marine Legion
Night Lords.
Even if I admit, Normally first it was: Vulkan, and The 18th space marine legion the Salamanders.
But my heart is broken, When Kondrad is given Vulkan to torture and kill in his flagship The Nightfall by horus if i remenber good after a dropship massacre.
After all the torture Vulkan finaly get his Hammer, dawnbringer, And say to Kondrad : " You are forgetting one thing Kondrad.
It's also a Hammer.
And Smash Kondrad. !
What i was expecting , is that after almost killing Kondrad, Vulkan would have refused to deal him the fatal blow, and instead would have given him a hug and squeezed him so tightly with love that his armor would have cracked.
And refusing to kill him he would have told him
“But I am also your brother”.
Did not Happen.
Kondrad is just :
A tromatized child who never grew up mentally and who is bathed in an inner horror and a terror that only the holy and merciful Emperor could have healed.
The problem is that Kondrad has the power and body of a primarch being nothing more than a ball of trauma.
He became a monster even worse than a demon on his home world so as not to succumb to madness or suicide.
A Monster disguise that he forced himself to convince himself that he was.
A hug from Vulkan and a few words from the Emperor. I would have hoped they could help him.
Poor Kondrad.

Thank you for subscribing and I am glad you liked the content! Most of the content of this channel is aiming towards more of the little known or unusual aspects of the Warhammer 40k universe.
It is interesting that you brought up Total War as there are some theories that the Warhammer Fantasy universe is an actual planet in 40k and involves one of the lost Primarchs.
The End Times is so intense and heartbreaking at times, but a great story though. I also cover figurines and painting in this channel as well if you are interested in that.
All the Primarchs are such tragic figures because of how they viewed the Emperor either in rage (those that fell to chaos) or love. Vulkan and Konrad were such interesting characters it us so tragic what befell these Primarchs.
Not to sound cliche but I find Sanguinius to be pretty damn tragic as well at the end of the Horus Heresy. Even Magnus is super depressing to think about as he just wanted to warn the Emperor and was wrecked for it.
