As a German, it has at times honestly been shocking to learn about the political system in the US. It's insane how powerful the president is. After WW2, we restructured our system by limiting the powers of the chancellor and president, and setting up checks and balances in a more effective way. It's not as simple as leaders going bad and everyone else just following along; how the system was set up played a major role. We had checks and balances back then, but once he got in power, Hitler was able to bypass those, or even disable them entirely.

One of the greatest gifts given to the right-wing extremists was the word "woke". They cannot define it and that's the way the want to keep it. It can be moulded into whatever suits their needs, namely anything that they disagree with or disagrees with them is immediately defined as "woke". I believe it was initially supposed to mean that those crimes going previously unpunished would no longer be ignored or turned a blind eye on. But the Republican machinery reconceptualized it for their own purposes. It has certain Gestapo quality to its twisting of language. We certainly live in fascinating and scary times.
here ill define it. Woke is a term generally used by people on the right-wing political isle. It is used to mean anything that is considered "liberal" or "left wing" .
co-opting the language is a common tactic; don't be distracted by such minutia, pay attention to what this guy is saying and you'll get a good overview of what's going on. Knowledge is power.
Something that is woke is trying to cater to any audience that is considered "oppressed" in some way. This ranges from women to PoC to lgbtq. Generally the idea is that white men suck, while everyone else has some form of virtue. It's very noticeable in many types of entertainment and honestly only making the problem worse: "You like hulk? Well here's the girl version she's much better at everything and she can control her anger, because being a woman is the most difficult thing ever. Also the villain of the story is litterally all the Hulk fans. " That's one of many examples and anyone into Hulk will feel insulted, which pushes them further into the arms of the fascists. I'm very much on the left of the political spectrum, but I think trying to understand where they're coming from, rather than trying to "gotcha" them, is a better way forward. Especially since what is actually meant by the term woke is pretty obvious. Some people take it too far, but those are on our side as well.
I agree. Freedom of religion has been twisted into the “freedom” of organized religion to do whatever they want to whomever they want without consequences, interference, or oversight as long as it’s done in the name of Jesus. Other religions get heavy restrictions and ostracism. When other religions enter the chat “freedom of religion” is replaced with “this is a Christian Nation”. If you don’t like the Christian church you’re going to, you can just go to the one across the street. But if you see a place of worship other than Christian, it’s likely to be the only one in the state, and I guarantee you local Christians are working to shut it down by hook or by crook. Real freedom of religion is the freedom to choose what religion you believe or don’t believe. To worship any god you want or no god at all. It’s not, not should it ever be the “freedom” of organized Christianity to rule the world and tell everyone what they have to believe.

The economy is recovering, nobody's rioting, and we're standing up on the world stage again. The nuts & bolts of it are to basically use every legal legislative means they have to install puppets in every branch, every department, every bureau within the government. That way they can change the laws to suit their currently not-quite-legal plans, set precedents for legality, & advance their radical bootlicking dystopian ideology even further.

Therefore, administrative agencies help the government carry out one of its primary functions which is to protect the rights and liberties of the people.

After WW2, we restructured our system by limiting the powers of the chancellor and president, and setting up checks and balances in a more effective way.

One thing is certain: "woke" has absolutely nothing to do with being awake.😂
Woke is what you'll never be, go back to sleep. Sheeple
co-opting the language is a common tactic; don't be distracted by such minutia, pay attention to what this guy is saying and you'll get a good overview of what's going on.
Some people take it too far, but those are on our side as well.

happily taking our rights away, doesn’t effect just minorities it affects everyone
I wasn't aware it was against the law to go to church in any city in any state in the U.S. Please enlighten everyone.
It’s not, not should it ever be the “freedom” of organized Christianity to rule the world and tell everyone what they have to believe.

as horrible and terrifying as this is, they have done a very good job at getting what they want (which obviously makes it more scary). If you want people to do what you want there are a few simple steps:
1. complement them, tell them they are smart or powerful
2. align what you want with their values and show them how implementing your ideas goes along with their values
3. make it very clear (as in step-by-step instructions) what you want and how it can be done
4. offer to help
The heritage foundation and especially through Project 2025 has followed this perfectly and it is terrifying. I wish that people on the left had the time and money to make this kind of concerted, structured effort to get their plans in place. One of the things that always gave me the tiniest sliver of hope was how incompetent Trump is, but with the backing of this sort of clear, no-thinking-required guidance he is more dangerous now then ever.
That has little to do with it. The Plan is inherently underhanded and manipulative and most Left-leaning people aren't willing to even THINK in underhanded terms, let alone act on them. I got through around 8 pages of this document. I couldn't continue. The abuse of jargon that they couldn't even define, the repeated hardline-right rhetoric that we hear, every single day, and the super fashy undertones, all made me roll my eyes so hard they almost got stuck.
Let's not lose sight of the fact that it is a plan - a recipe of sorts. It does not have to make sense to us (and it fact it won't) it only has to provide some direction for similar thinking acolytes. If only we had a plan so simple and easy to follow.
The jargon is literally "newspeak," it's meant to fry your brain. Look what it did to your eyes, lucky you can still see.
@@michaelballiro1092 Well, I don’t think it gets much simpler than “keep these authoritarian idiots out of power by any means necessary”
They probably made the readability of the text difficult so people with opposing views lose interest and concern. The hard language is intentional.
How do you guys vote democrat while calling republicans everything that the DNC is LITERALLY DOING RIGHT NOW IN THIS ELECTION 😂
This is terrifying and I'm not even American, feels like I'm watching the rise of authoritarianism and dare I say fascism in one of the most powerful nations (militarily speaking) and can't do anything about it.

The script writing for the intro to this video was exceptional. Whoever on your team wrote that, give them a raise.
I’ll take the credit for that one myself actually, thanks for your kind words 😁

The whole video’s writing was honestly great. Bro has good humour
I was over at my dad's house the other day helping with some household chores. He lives in a very rural area of a very red state. At the end of the day we went to one of the nearby country bars. It's the kind of place that farmers, truckers, and the working class go to unwind. Biden was on the TV and the local gun store owner said, "You know what? He ain't so bad. The economy is recovering, nobody's rioting, and we're standing up on the world stage again. Can't believe I'm sayin this but Ol' Joe's got my vote next election" I looked around and all I saw were heads nodding in agreement. I even heard a few calls of 'yessir' and 'damn straight' from the men around me
I really hope that happens. The nonsense from Trump and the MAGA crowd is grade-A gaslighting and it makes me crazy how often it doesn't sound like more people see through it all.
@@DennisMoore664if this is true i have some hope for the good men of the south.
Because old joe is a dem but closer to the centrist type of democrat
there is hope!
Joe is who we need right now. Because of the electoral college, and the division in the country, national elections come down to Independent/centrist voters in a handful of centrist states. He is old, but he is governing in a progressive way, invested the most in climate change in history and is canceling student loan debt, which is why Bernie and AOC are supporting him. He needs to get right on Gaza, and hopefully soon, but the GOP have talked about turning Gaza into a p. lot. Once we get past this fascist adulation of the right, and Trump is banished to an ankle monitor at Mar-a-lago, the GOP can finish collapsing and rebuilding into something better, hopefully. More Libertarian/technocrat and less theocratic if they are smart. Since Christians fell in love with Trump, overall approval of the Christian religion is in the toilet. The Republican party was rebuilt before. 👉 Search the Whig party wiki if you are curious. New, young leaders need to start running for 2028 now. It costs too much, but Pete Buttegieg did it successfully through small dollar donations.
Its upsetting that this isnt being talked about mainstream, or at least.. more often, and is what's making me want to leave this country more and more
Fantastic video. Instant follow 👌🏼
As a trans woman, this scares me. If a republican wins I'm so fucked. But, I have no plans on leaving America, I will stay and fight to the bitter end
It’s hard not to feel scared all the time. I’m not even out yet but…. I don’t know how to be brave through this.
Hope you all stay safe. I'm on the other side of the world but American politics has me scared for American queer people. Especially trans people.
Im a trans masc non-binary person and im hella terrified. Sadly, im too poor to leave America, let alone move down the street. We are in a fight or d!e mode. Im trying my best to fight against all this, but im getting really mentally and emotionally tired of fighting for my right to peacefully exist. It’s getting really hard to hold myself away from crossing “that line” and unalive myself from exhaustion and hopelessness. I don’t wanna go there, but I don’t know what to do when we run out of options.
@MxPotato84 I understand how you feel. I got pretty close to that line myself because of all the shit that's going on and being too poor to leave, but therapy helped some. At this point I just assume that if a republican wins they'll do it for me, so I'm gonna do what I can to help others while I'm here

Thank you for talking about this. Everyone needs to know about what could potentially happen. Our liberty and freedom is at stake. As a woman, the thought of terms such as reproductive health and abortion being essentially outlawed is terrifying to me.

They won't be able to do anything to social security, disability/welfare. There will be a civil war in this country if they ever try to get rid of it. Too many people and most importantly their family members depend on both of them for retirement/livelihood it's like pandoras box once opened it cannot be shut again ever. I'm so thankful for this video. I've been hearing about Project 2025 from progressive outlets but no one has really explained what it is besides, "Conservative's plan to take over the government." Like, surely there are more details to this plan than just that lol
The nuts & bolts of it are to basically use every legal legislative means they have to install puppets in every branch, every department, every bureau within the government.
That way they can change the laws to suit their currently not-quite-legal plans, set precedents for legality, & advance their radical bootlicking dystopian ideology even further.

Thats where this eventually leads it begins with lgbt, then women, then interracial marriage, then racial equality, then religious mandates. We are currently at the women’s rights state. The thing is Western Christianity uses the great chain of being, which is the root of institutional racism.

While the Constitution does not explicitly mention administrative agencies, it was designed to be a living document which means it can be amended to allow for flexibility to address specific needs or concerns of the times. It also provides for the ability of the government to take the necessary steps to carry out its functions as spelled out in the Document. Therefore, administrative agencies help the government carry out one of its primary functions which is to protect the rights and liberties of the people.

What's frightening as an Australian viewer, is to see how 50 years of planning, shifting and throwing money around by, not just America's upper crust, the *upper crust* of America's upper crust, has led to where the U.S. is today.
