Seeing Serj Light Up At The Depth Of Graham’s Questions Is Awesome, I Can Only Imagine How Much Time Went Into Preparing To Interview Such A Passionate Artist As Serj.
Can we all acknowledge how much Graham has blossomed as an interviwer? It's amazing looking back at past interviews, and seeing him now and how much he's progressed. Graham. Cheers to you Sir.
Serj honestly has been a voice of our generation if we think about it when it comes with music wise. System of a Down has been around since mid 90s and became huge in the 2000’s with their sound that no one has done before and their lyrics. Thank you serj and of course the rest of SOAD 🤘 Been a fan since ‘05
Ghram is always on top of interviews with musicians. Easily one of the best to do it. Some stand out favorites, Ville Valo, John 5, Tobias forge & many many others. Now this. Such a raw and real conversation with two great people showing respect. Serj is the man!!
The amount of times that Serj says "Good question" is absolute proof that this interviewer respects those he interviews. Great interview, well done on both sides.
On the point of trusting information I'd like to add that everyone has a political bias and some verified sources are just propaganda for wealthy powerful people, so pay attention to a variety of sources from all political spectrums. Conservatives, liberals, moderates, libertarians, anarchist, get as many view points as possible because it will give you a better understanding of the issues and the arguments.
harakiri is serjs best song dare i say up there net to some of soad's best songs and im totally diggin his new stuff. His solo work, scars, of and system these men just continue to write top notch great music. Thank you serj, daron, shavo, and john.
I'm so jealous. Soad and his solo work have been one of the biggest influences that have made me the man I am today. I'm forever grateful for the inspiration that pushed me into becoming a metal guitarist and drummer!
I’m sorry to all the other commenters but SOAD is over. And that’s okay. Serj is doing so much good with his career, and the other former members of SOAD are doing awesome things as well. The freedom from being in the band truly seems to be good for all four of them- I mean, they broke up for a reason. Serj’s solo projects and his activism really inspired me in my own life and I’m very grateful for that.
Don’t say that. No band will ever be “over” just simply not making music anymore or whatever. Especially Soad’s music will live forever and their music speaks louder now more than ever
I love that Graham isn't afraid or ashamed to let the artists he interviews know what their work means to him personally. The best interviewers walk that fine line between fan and reporter. We need more humanity like that by public figures in general.
I remember when I went to see them perform late October in 2001. A little over a month that 9/11 happened. Everything at that time seemed so "unsure" since the attack on our America. I actually got backstage with my sister and girlfriend of ours. It was an awesome time and I found him to be so intelligent with alot of depth. We shared alot of the same world views. I'll never forget meeting him and the other cool band mates. His activism shows how truly passionate he is to the injustices that has happened and IS happening in this world. I was never offended when he said he believed that there may have been more to the attack on 9/11. I'll leave it at that. We need more people like him in this world. Genuine, passionate, truthful, and outspoken.
Everyone on here thinking they were getting back together n at, it's been said several times, the direction they want to go is why they haven't gotten back. THIS topic, is more important to THEM, THEIR passion, in what actually brings them (SOAD) together. I much prefer this insight, because it's what inspires them to be vocal about change, oppression, hypocrisy, the bs, in their art.
Serj is literally one of the coolest people in my opinion. I would like to meet him some day I really like system of a down it really is such a damn shame that the band doesn't see eye to eye with the future of soad it kinda reminds me of the disastrous break up of oasis. despite a break up I still listen to oasis and I haven't heard soad in like a long time anyways good day cya
If it wasn't for SOAD and Serj. I never would have known about the genocide in Armenia. It's super important for those with the power of many followers and fans to speak up about injustices to help school those who aren't aware.
Serj is so learned, not just on world and political issues, but in his manner of speaking as well. I feel like a complete moron in comparison. I don't get star struck around celebrities, but I feel like I would feel so mentally intimidated by Serj. Graham does an incredible job of staying afloat here. Excellent interview 🤘🏻
As soon as I saw that Serj has something to say, I literally dropped everything to listen. He is such a great person and everything he says is the absolute truth. We need more people like him.
I wish i had this footage of Serj to show elders around me when i was a kid. Not even the events necessarily, but just him and his intelligence, views on the world, self and being aware. Even his mannerism and how he speaks.
Well damn...I came here to say the same thing "never guna happen" but wasn't guna be a dick about it...calling someone a "fool" just because they want something to happen (no matter how unlikely) is uncalled for...would be cool but at this point I'd rather remember them as the amazing band they where then show up to an epic fail...take all the people who are wishing for a pantera reunion (well tribute would be the more respectful thing to call it) watch phil and the illegals do there "a vulgar display of pantera" on the slayer retirement tour...fucking horrible... imagine going to that to remember dime and vinny just to be smacked by that atrocity... system of a down was definitely amazing but let them go out on top that's all I mean
@@JustMe-cl6fj I mean, they did release material less than a year ago. They literally DID get back together. Nothing is saying that can't happen again.
