- We had a lot of fun shooting this video getting all kinds of reaction from the Cybertruck with STEK DYNOblack-matte PPF. Matte Black definitely pops and gets the attention from everyone in San Francisco.
We cross the Bay Bridge, visit Pier 39, Fisherman Wharf, Golden Gate Bridge, Twin Peaks, Stonestown Mall, Serramonte Supercharger, Union Square, and more!

I like this video. No obnoxious driver talking over the entire video. Just the cybertruck and people living their lives, perfect.

The sheer joy from children when seeing this was not something i expected.
This truck will be cemented in young kids minds as what the future looks like, much like when I was young with BladeRunner, Total Recall, Back to the Future, and other retro future-sci fi films.
I’d say the overwhelming response was largely positive or at least intrigued. I get why people say it’s ugly but man, this thing is also gorgeous from so many angles
Nah kids are just astonished to see their typical hand-drawn car picture in real life. 😂
This vehicle really isn’t the future though, it’s way too heavy and isn’t allowed in Europe because it blows someone straight under the car when hitting a person.
It being heavy has major disadvantages for roads that wear down much much faster and it creating a lot more noice not to mention all the wasted space people are towing while not needing such a vehicle.
Other pickups just seem old and dated now

My brothers got a Delorean and He can’t drive it anywhere without fan fare and crowds forming, asking to sit in it, take pictures with him, etc. it’s a lot haha
This is a lifestyle and persona type of vehicle that is a magnet for attention. Deservedly so, it looks fantastic in this video.

Watching this video, it dawns on you how lovely and quiet it will be when EVs are the majority on the road.
Lol it's the tires that makes the noise. Engine noise is nothing these days unless you a driving a sporty car.

Yeah only at low speeds EVs are quiet but at higher speeds like 30mph its nearly the same unless it is a more powerful car. Although at intersections when cars stand still it will be a lot quieter.
That's the thing I'm looking forward to the most about everything EV related, because that could change the opinion I have about living in large cities with lots of road traffic noise and pollution.
And although it won't do anything about traffic congestion, parking difficulties and stressful city driving issues, but it sure is a step forward towards better city living standards...
@@heth91 Not exactly true, just stand by a traffic light with nothing but petrol/diesel engines and there's always that loud accordion of engines revving up/down when accelerating/stopping at traffic lights!
This really brings me back to the early days of cool tech before phone design plateaued, such an amazing feeling to experience that again through this video

I used to have a $95,000 Hummer H1. Obtainable and same shit everywhere I went. People always looked, thumbs up or down. Middle fingers or waive. Talked to me at most places I stopped. Pretty lame to film yourself and reactions.

Nah this is a very special car...u can see a lambo or buggatti and turn or take a pic...but to see people scream in excitement to just seeing the cyber truck is next level

I say this every time. I don't love the design (particularly the back) but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't cool AF. Seeing it in person it looks really well built and this matte black ppf is sick!

I’m not a hater against tesla nor their truck, what i am hating is the fact that these vehicles are way too big for the average person that will drive one alone to work, it being loud because of the extra weight that EV’s have in general, the roads wearing down faster cause of the weight and that they’re not more sustainable than a modern diesel. I see the future with more people walking to the stores, parks, school, gym, etc and people biking more cause of e-bikes.
The country has been controlled by car companies for decades and it’s time to take some of it back to enjoy for ourselves like transforming a giant walmart parking lot (that’s always empty) into a green space for people or even housing.
@@miles5600 yea but some places you just can't walk or ride in the Us transportation sucks. I used to live in Alaska you had to jawalk to even get the bus stop but then they chance the bus stop where it didn't come to my place i would have to go to downtown at night in crime heavy place in know thank you. Like now I live in new state sure I could walk to work some days , But in summer time it way to hot to even walk like 120F not good to walk in trust me I know I almost pass out at work for over heating.

I doubt it's that long. It's just starting off slow for the time being but it depends on when you order it. If you wait long then it'll be long.
2 million pre orders. Even if only 1/3 of those buy the truck, it's still 3-4 years of waiting for new orders..

@@henrywilliams5458 DO NOT GO FOR GLOSS! it doesn't fit the aesthetic of the vehicle and will make it look ugly. Tesla designers took inspiration from the F-117 (matte black), PL-01(Matte grey), Bladerunner/total recall/cyberpunk cars (matte black/grey and stainless/silver. I would go for matte black or any of the colors of the cool looking sci-fi designs it was inspired from

the bits and pieces added to the top of it makes it look technical and neat looking.

Ford did just that with a F150 Lightning a couple of years ago to the UK, with a US charge port, so no way you could charge it normally, just to say how we could do a truck EV before Tesla.

I'm consistantly amazed on how well-versed KIDS are to anything Tesla. The Cybertruck does everything to a kid to get them excited about the future and to adults, the Cybertruck brings the kid out of us (well some of us haha). I love this video because it captures raw emotion from everyone; love it or hate it.

Yea, I was amazed how good this truck looks in person. Pictures are no substitute. There is a never ending feed of people who hate on the model Y yet it’s the best car I’ve ever owned and I’ve owned a lot of cars. It’s not even close.
@@mylesgray3470 but to be honest the 3 and especially the S look much better, but the Y is top technology with high utility (more space), it is the value for money and not the looks that make the Y so successful.

The wheel arch trims should be accented (rotated) forward so the top edge is parallel to the main fender / door crease that runs the length of the truck.
These are subtle oversights that render the "Triangle Truck" design unrefined.
