Kambua you have a warmth presence, you never interrupt your guest which is so rare to find nowadays during interviews.. you always give them your full your attention. Kudos to that ❤
Kambua thanks for bringing such information to us .Am a campus student who didn't know much on this episodes you bring. Am learning n can now educate my peers. I love how you listen ,calm and very empathetic to all the guests . May God bless this community n I pray more grace to Faith ❤
I relate to this story, my sister has a 14 yrs old son and she is a full time special mum. I feel Faith, my heart goes out to all special mums. More grace to you Faith. Kambua thank you for the shows.
it is well, God is in control. Thanks for accepting to be a voice of hope to someone, The lord will carry you through it all,im your Neighbor and Nayla is just adorable 🤗we love her. More Grace, its possible in Christ
Kambua, you are such a supportive warm accommodating safe listener, I see it in these episodes. Your guests have a gem and divine audience right there, so heavenly. I have began practicing. God bless you mama Nate.
Its unfortunate how people make assumptions and sometimes knowingly or unknowingly utter words which are hurtful to the listener. Ive learned with time that most people are so insensitive to things. I dont Medle on people matters/ lives unless im invited . It's well with Faith and baby Nila. God will remain to be faithful.
I really admire special mothers like you Faith 🙂 Only God can give you such abundance of Grace and Strength. Thank you for sharing your story with us. May our good God continue to bless you and Nayla.
More grace to Faith and her beautiful children. I really think the medical fraternity needs to consider being open with patients . Surely going to hospital sometimes is like you are taking an exam, you ask sooo many questions coz all they do is tests and administer medication..most of the time if you do not ask questions you will never know what's happening. And unfortunately even after asking some doctors will be reluctant to say anything or even brush you off. You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free is a universal truth that needs to be embraced.
Thank you so much for this. Faith is so beautiful, and Kambua too. 💕 I am often bothered by deliberate lack of sharing of information by a majority of Kenyan medics to mothers ( and patients) about either a condition their are going through or their baby. It leaves one so helpless. You don't know what you are dealing with and sometimes when this information is given, its too late, you are already broken in too many ways.
God is able…i pray that God will give Faith the Grace that she needs….strengthen her and make His presence be felt. How I wish you mentioned those hospitals that take other people's lives as if they don't matter to avoid them…
I am so proud of faith , seeing her become a mother and a mother to an adorable bold little princess Nana is beautiful to behold because of how makes motherhood and especially to a special child look so easy to manage , the few times I have been around her and the baby , I never saw her sad or complain about the gift that God gave her even though as not expected , so has loved and made motherhood so beautiful. I celebrate you faith
Thank you for sharing your story. Your faith and strength are very encouraging. As a mama with special needs; I can relate! Goodness! Kenyan public school needs some major work with inclusiveness of special needs children. Again thank you for sharing your story!
Thank you Kambua. I follow up on every interview and as you said it's always a time to just sit, listen and appreciate God's work. This specific session with Faith Mutuku is the main reason I will hold up my desire and dream to bring special mums together for group support meetups. To just talk and support each other and support the small milestones that the loving special children have however small. However the so many I have heard their stories and shared in their encounters, I keep asking myself why are the stories so similar. Why won't our mums get to know what is happening right from hospitals. Why will no one explain what CP is ? What therapy is and what Therapy actually looks like..?
@kambua I am so thankful for these episodes more than you could know...thank you thank you...please please I encourage those who are comfortable to take the mantle of educating those around us on differently abled children and their families. Just like you have taken the mantle to educate us on these different journeys to motherhood may these families not shy away from bring us into the fold.
May God give you more strength Faith.indeed it takes God to take care of our special children.Explaining yourself to people is exhausting,we have learnt to ignore ,smile and move on.
I wish the health workers giving the child immunisation would also be doing milestone assessment during the visit n refer surely 6months not sitting no head control n the child is visiting clinics every monthim not bragging but as nutritionist i always check for the milestones
Talking of Sunday school,😢😢😢 most of the churches are making parenting so hard, we'd rather stay home especially main stream churches za kitambo. Last Sunday I went to church with my bundles of joy 3 under 5 and as we were waiting for the older girl to join Sunday school classes an elderly man demanded that I be moved outside. Yes in church i went to the car and drove home. God is everywhere. I forgave
Really difficult interview to watch, our medics have a long long way to go... When you have a diagnosis it gives one strength to move and seek answers/help
It is clear there was negligence from the hospital you gave birth in.... Such hospitals should be known.... Dont be afraid to mention their names.... It might save some kids
