Why on EARTH did that idiot use flash photography outside? Well done to the Trooper for charging his horse at him. The Flash can hurt our eyes, imagine what it does to the Horse!
It's light enough!! Why in the heck would someone use a freaking flash!! Well done to that Trooper!! For scaring the crap out of him, and telling him off politely, of course!! Your friend, the Retired Paramedic and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦
I agree. Modern cameras will give perfectly good results in much worse light than that, and a flash will not improve the picture. I am a keen photographer but I do not even own a fllash.
I'm with you. If the Guards INSIDE the courtyard can be protected by chains - and they have voices to complain, why are the horses left to fend for themselves....people mauling them all over, pulling their reigns, waving flags in their faces - and flashes on cameras and they have nothing to stop them. It's not surprising that they have "moments" I'd have a lot more than that if I was a horse. It's not surprising that some of them plain refuse to go in the box in the first place - they know what's coming.

Tourists who come to London nowadays are so bloody rude!!! Why can’t they show more respect to the guards???
Isn't this the same trooper who yelled at the tourists to get back when I tell you to at the changing of the guard? This young trooper puts his job first not the tourist.
Bad enough they are forced to stand all day with someone sitting on them 🤷♂️ and all for no reason because these arent real guards, its all for show lol the nearby police are the real guards to this place

Well done Buska, for letting us know what was happening, That guard obviously was able to time his "charge" at the jerk, without saying a word, in order not to frighten other people around. Apparently, that jerk thought his prank was funny. Evidently the guard did not.

It is time to limit the numbers gathering round the Guard and horse at any one time. There is no reason why they couldn't have a booking slot system for tourist groups especially and that might help to keep the numbers down at particularly busy times.

I really would like to view the Kings Guard at this location. Would you mind telling me the name of the location. Thank you and keep up the great work. You have definitely interested me enough to plan a visit there.
Hi 👋 Grubby Pirate, if you google kings horse guards there is a section "where can I see...." everything you need to know is there, but I know it's know the area of London called Whitehall. I'm jealous you're going there, being 70 and down in NZ, I'll never get there now unless I win Lotto😔 Best of luck for your trip, cheers from a kiwi 😊
@@KiwiGirl1 Thank you so much, I truly appreciate your reply and never say "never". You're fortunate to live in a beautiful area yourself. Ive been to NZ and absolutely loved it. Cheers.
This is filmed at Horse Guards Whitehall Central London , along from Downing Street , Trafalgar Square , it's historically the official entrance to Buckingham Palace across the Parade ground at the back then along the Mall .
A truly good parent wouldn't allow their child to be that close to an unfamiliar horse in the first place. Even if the horse doesn't bite or kick, something as simple as a fly landing on its leg, and it stomping its leg to get the fly off, could get a child's toe stepped on. I doubt that those children were wearing footwear that would protect their feet from bruising or cuts in that case.
Why would you use a flash in the daytime? It’s really bright nd it might scare the horses. That’s why th guard moved forward to try and stop the flashing of it.

It's called a "fill flash" to balance colors and reduce shadows. Not uncommon, but the photog should have realized it might startle the horse.
Rude and ignorant (or arrogant) and went scurrying off with a smirk on his face. He knew what he did😡
Doing it to spook the horse.... if it was a genuine mistake, he would have apologised and put the camera down... but he didnt, he carried on.
Either that or he's just plain ignorant and didn 't care what happened to the horse.

Probably just a fill flash to brighten the darker shadows. I don't think it's a good idea in 5his situation though.

probably cos he's no photographer either, just a tourist with delusions of grandure.
I think it’s time to stop tourists from getting up close to the guards and horses. So they can do their real job properly.
They can't do much of anything with that gaudy outfit on.

Go to a petting zoo......too much stress for the horses, respect the soldiers, ❤ from Las Vegas!
That’s a second charge, and I like this guard! Why suffer all the silliness and rudeness, when you and your horse can draw your boundaries!
