It’s not a poor thing it’s a living animal and they both derive a lot of respect and love witch the guards give them every day

I really think that they should stop people from touching the horses and the soldiers. It’s do undignified to have people mauling the kings horses when they are working.
Moronic tourists should not be allowed to touch these working horses!!!

Why can't people just take their damn photo and leave, they aren't horse whisperers, though they think they are. It is disgusting watching the women especially glob onto the horse with their grimy hands and not leave it alone.
Why do people have to touch the horses, spreading germs from person to person and from horse to guards. This needs to stop for the wellbeing of the guards and horses.

Touching the horse is a problem. What the guards think about it is obvious from their facial expressions, but apparently the rules are set so that touching is allowed - because tourist attraction? So the cavalry sets the rules, not the dumb crowd.
They don't even back up under the arch to relieve them from the crowd. I guess they're ordered to endure it.
Some tourists seem to think they have a personal audience with the horse and guard. If they really have to, it should be just a quick pic and then move.
Why do so many of these people look like they just came out of a Goodwill Store??

If this was a real guard post people would not be allowed to handle the horse or they go way to far

Not sure why you all make such a big fuss, neither the horse nor the guard had a problem. She moved out of the way multiple times so other people could take a photo, hell she even took a photo for someone else.
Because the horse - as well as the guard - is on duty and it's not a petting zoo !!

I'm really surprised they allow strangers to come into their place of work and touch or crowd the soldiers and their mounts.
That to me is interference of their job.
They are not out there for strangers to touch the mounts or distract the soldiers at their job or place of work.
I'm from USA and I'd be furious if anyone tried to touch my horse.

One looked like she's escaped the loony bin in her pj's, and her friend was over personal with the horse. the Guard is not allowed to show dissatisfaction, but believe me, he will be thinking it. You obviously are a foreigner to even think she did nothing wrong. How weird!
