Just found this. Yes, Asami is not a typical metal singer--her background is in classical, blues and soul. It enables her to cover a huge range of tones and sound great.
Asami has so much power in her voice, I love her, she is a blessing for heavy metal!

Whichever Lovebites track introduces you to the band, one of the “E” songs are the ones that tell you you’ve struck gold. This band is 100 times better than 99% of all others, whichever genre. Great reaction. “Dancing with the Devil” shows Asami’s soul roots, especially towards the end. That would be a good one to try next.

Miyako channeling Gary Moore is awesome. And her talent on with the keys, with eyes closed mind you, is the stuff of legend. But that 4'-9" Haruna is a beast with those double kicks. Haruna beats on those drums like they owe her money. They are bringing old school power/thrash metal back. I always have loved Asami's vocals on "Burden of Time" live studio version. You like Miyako playing piano and like her playing guitar, well guess what on "Burden of Time", she plays them both...........at the same time. Oh, you forgot to turn your mike on. At lest it sounded like that.
I'm pretty sure Haruna is thinking of her ex-boyfriend while she is on double kicks.

In terms of stage presence, she's like Ronnie James Dio - both physically short, but they *demand* your attention - he could hold an audience in the palm of his hand, and so does she. She's a trained Ballerina, so that helps.

I am sorry to correct you but Edge of Darkness is a Greta Van Fleet song, this is Edge of the World by Lovebites. Awesome reaction totally love your input on Asami's glorious voice, there are still people out there that aren't able to handle her voice for whatever reason they have. From the very beginning I have loved her so much and she made a huge impact to my new found love to rock and metal as it had died off back in the mid to late '80s. These ladies have risen up and broken walls down in a male dominant genre and surpassed all of the male bands and left them all behind with so much superiority and majestic. They are the real deal and the one and only for me right now, I do love other Japanese rock bands but nothing compared to Lovebites. I don't care what the others may think but I was the first one to use the terms (The "E" songs of Lovebites) now it has become the norm among many of the wolfpack, which I am no longer part of, but am a adamant admirer and defender of Lovebites

The guys can't handle Asami, seem to me, they are hooked with stereotype metal. They just can't handle out of style which is not totally "rock". It is a cultural legacy, not rock/metal which has to be radical and free and aggressive.

At the outset, your microphone is to low, and then you tried to talk over the video, which just completely overwhelmed you. Here are two things that will help you and yur viewers: 1) put yourself in an inset and give whatever you are reacting to the bulk of the screen, and 2) when you want to interject a comment, pause the video. You can always back up a few seconds. It will help you in the long run. And also, the pauses that causes will help you stay out of the crosshairs. I'll be watching for the next couple of months to see if you implement anything Ihave suggested. I would like to recommend Lovebites performance of "Swan Song" with the Chopin Etude.
It would have been a very enjoyable reaction, if only we could hear you during the music. Nothing you said came through your microphone while the video was playing, and everything inbetween the breaks were in pretty low volume comparing to the video sound volume.
Unfortunately, your comment channel is way too quiet. One understands nothing at all.
